    also what does it say that the MW title will be on indie PPV while The Punisher is on HBO!

    That wasn't a loss. That was a mugging, felony strong armed robbery.

    Williams is DEFINATELY in the drivers seat here. All of the worth while names @ 168 are fighting in Showtime's round robin and 160 is a virtual wasteland.

    Pavlik doesn't have a HBO date and Williams has been taking care of the MF'in business against ALL comers lately.

    Arum knows Paul is going to give Pavlik the business and is trying to cash out, IMHO...

    Talk all the **** you want about Pavlik he has only lost to a legend in Hopkins in which Williams has lost to a small welter weight Quintana.
    Pavlik is the draw and IMO Arum and Pavlik do deserve the higher share of the purse who the **** is Paul Williams?

    If ANYBODY thinks that Williams demanding $2.5m of a $3.75m - which is TWO-THIRDS of the pot - is a fair deal, then, quite frankly, they need to see a mental health professional.

    Youre right, i dont read your idiotic comments. PW is asking for more money to fight pavlik then he has ever received fighting anyone else. And you still say PW isnt ducking him? Give me a break. Sign the papers already.

    Tell you what he hasnt lost to a Quintana thats for sure. and has a knock out over Taylor a guy that beat Hopkins twice he beat that man twice a guy that Winky couldnt even beat.

    :patsch And what about the millions from sponership money? Pavlik keeps all that and it's not even his date. so tecate is going to pay millions for an indie top rank ppv or for an HBO showcase?

    Williams stands to make more money fighting w/o Pavlik than fighting Pavlik ... Williams is a headliner.

    Pavlik is the one thats not going to be able to find an opponent ... instead of TopRank getting that 500k they should give that to Williams ... and to be honest ... Pavlik hasn't been on HBO since his PPV tanked with Hopkins and he suffered his first defeat and was about to get more of a better after the 12th.
