Goosen/Williams are going to blow it AGAIN

if you look at PDubs career he has been all over the map he has been a middleweight a Jr Middleweight and a Welter weight so moving up is nothing new.

 

Does anyone know what HBO is rumored to be offering for Williams/Dzindiruk? It could significantly change the argument if Williams is only getting $500,000, for example, for that fight.

 

I will likely go to see williams and my wife will go with me. Thats 2 of the 4 right there You are seriously underestimating how popular pwill is at this point.

He's coming off a loss to Hopkins ... he hasn't had high ratings ... he hasn't succeeded in PPV ... he's just baby sitting those titles ...

HBO knows that the ratings would be better if Pavlik fought Williams vs fighting anyone else.

I was being sarcastic. I know Williams is rapidly growing in popularity. Trust me, I run a boxing clothing business and we tried to sign Williams a year ago. We didn't then, and now he's way out of our price range. He has a lot of momentum. But I also have seen Pavlik fight in AC. 90% of the crowd will be pro-Pavlik. PWill does not deserve half of the gate. He deserves half of everything else, which will still net him 2 million plus. By far, his biggest payday.

 

The list of fighters are just fighters that they would approve of on their network. He still doesn't have a date and he has a contract out there with Mora who could further delay Pavlik fighting if he choose to take that signed contract to a legal situation.

 

Well, if HBO sees Goosen as pricing himself out of this fight, you think they are going to see Pdub in a favorable light? All is tentative.

 

Exactly. If hes only going to make 500 thousand for dzindiruk then it contradicts his argument now that he wants 1.75 mil!

 

Jack Loew said in the stuff all you guys posted that they didn't have a date. listen you guys taking this **** to personal.

loew said that he was hoping for 10/3 but it might be 9/26 he didn't like it b/c he wanted a longer training camp. that's from what you Y-town boys posted. jack Loew said they had no confirmed date.
