Spelling? you left your self open, and I countered:yep Take your whoopin' like a man:yep

Paul and Kelly have no say? We wouldn't even be having this discusion if KP had not said; "Get me Williams."

At this point I have zero faith that it will get signed. I think Goosen is trying to take the Sauerland route, but it will back fire because Sauerland kept all $ figures quiet, and Goosen did not. I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

But this is not a comparison. And I can tell by that last comment you never stepped in a ring to compete. as much death as there is in boxing. And I'm speaking of the 2 recent ring deaths. Compensation has to be there when your life is on the line.

    :fire

when in the history of boxing has any fighter ever said that.... both of these guys could give a **** really... they are probably supremely confident that they will win no matter who they face so either way it makes no difference... i doubt either guy has a grudge towards either one so its just about who they promoters put infront of them at this point

look i dont know if you have negotiated before

i have... although not for so much money but i have negotiated before

your first offer is supposed to be an low ball, back breaker... completely non sense to try to get advantage... then the rest of the time is about coming to a comfortable medium for both people... sometimes it takes longer than usual.. this **** just happens to be complicated cause each other guy has their own **** going for them..... just wait.... everyone got they panties in a ****ing bunch for what

the fight has been in discussions for like a week.... by next wednesday or at the latest by next friday we will know what the deal is

You are confused man. How is Pavlik turning his back on it? What you are saying is that Pavlik should give Williams a shot at the belts(eventhough Williams isn't a belt holder himself at 160) and take less money than the challenger because he supposedly needs the fight so bad? That's plain ridiculous.

It looks like typical negotiating going on and I think they reach a deal. Raphael's article says HBO is offering up 3.75 million and that Goosen wants 2.5 million and 50% of the gate. Thats either a high offer with the intent of coming down or Goosen doesn't want the fight. I do think Williams has more options than Pavlik and he seems to be more of a favorite with HBO at the moment. But Pavlik is clearly the bigger gate producer here. I'd think the HBO share of the money should be close to a split but that Pavlik should get the bigger chunk of the gate reciepts. This is the biggest fight for either guy out there right now so I think they will come to some sort of agreement.

I wish Dana White was the boxing promoter. He'll make this fight happen already.

The Dzinziruk fight is just as dangerous...Sergey is no pushover... Williams has cornered himself:yep... and should he duck both these fighters.. I don't ever want to see or hear about him being as a boxer.

    your ****ing up dog....

i said pavlik needs it to much to turn his back on it.... not saying he is turning his back on it....

YO **** BELTS IN 09... they are totally and completely irrelevant... there are about 6 belts in each division and usually all of them are garbage.... the belt wont mean ****.. if he beats pavlik he beats pavlik.. thats the only thing thats important....

what im saying is pavlik has no other good options..

    sergio mora?
    sergio martinez?
    allan green?

you ****ing kidding me? thats a real who's who of great boxers..

lets be serious... paul williams is pavliks best option by far

paul williams on the other hand

    dzniurik
    clottey
    mosley
    cotto potentially

    be real...
