This is the problem they can't say the Boxing heavyweight title should be free to air as there are too many versions.

The internet is the only place for big time boxing for uk fans.

You say that, and to a point it is a simplification of the problem. But Harrison's (and his teams) abuse of that £1 Million contract, went a long way to putting the Beeb off the sport...

 

I wasn't on about his point. 'EarthsFinest' is clearly the same guy as 'WorldsGreatest' who got banned recently for trolling :good

I agree that Audley did put the BBC off boxing which is a real shame. They've gone off showing live boxing since.

I worked for the BBC for a couple of years, helping with the lighting on Jonothan Ross. The powers that be at the beeb are all posh twats, in the most extreme way. Boxing would definetly be percieved as 'uncivilised' and far too low-brow for their beloved network. (can you tell I'm bitter )
