Another key to beat Mayweather is to hurt him in his pockets, Floyd would make huge money fighting Manny Pacquiao, why not just take that fight away from him all together and make him take about six fights to make up the money he could have made here.

 

Roach has never beat Mayweather and never has came close to beating Mayweather ... it baffles me how you can say that about a guy who's a 13 yr veteran, who hasn't lost a fight.

There's something to be said, especially considering him being a 6-time world champion.

I'm getting tired of so many trainers and fighters assuming that Mayweather's going to give them any strategical angle to beat him. He never fights the same each fight and he's never going to give you much offensively because of his defense.

I can tell you this, as much as Roach think he knows, the opposite is going to happen against Mayweather. You see more times Floyd taking what he can get, than any other fighter.

He should just be prepared to keep his fighter in shape against Floyd.

Floyd will capitalize off of whatever his opponent gives him ... and if its Pacquiao, Floyd is going to have alot to work with.

 

Floyd barely kept that undefeated record he won that fight by the smallest margin and guess what it was a older DLH with Roach in his corner, now you get a younger guy like Manny who has speed power and is a southpaw with a high work rate who does like to come forward you have Floyd in a nightmare with Krueger

On your card, on the Judges he won by a single point SD and that is in the official books.

Because anyone who was watching that fight knows Floyd won it clear.

 

Max Kellerman is a man who has an opinion there is a criteria in scoring fights, there is a reason we have a commission there is a reason they under go the training that they under go, its so that they do not end up scoring in favor of a fighter they just like better.

Pac was already set at fighting Diaz even before Marquez II, businesswise, both are also with TR, fight was easier to make. That fight again was a tuneup, as it was also Pac's 1st fight at 135, for the bigger fights at the higher weight.
You don't seem to talk much (maybe know much) about Manny's exploits below LW. He was already considered a legend before going up to 135 and fighting Diaz. That win only ranks 10th, at best, of his wins.

With DLH, he could've passed/refused to fight Pac who was coming from LW. Oscar choosed what he thought was the easy way out, he was set to fight the Cotto-Margo winner but wimped out when he saw how bad of a beating Cotto got in that fight. Remember also that during this time J. Diaz, Campbell, Guzman and JMM are set to fight others . Manny's only other option was Valero which would have been seen before as an easier fight than Oscar.

At 140, none of those guys you mentioned could've done to Hatton what Pac did. That's all you need to keep in mind. :yep

I agree he has had some boring fights, but he's far from boring. Pac fought a weight drained DLH, lets not forget about that. How do u feel Pac would have done fight DLH at 154? Different story different outcome huh?

 

That fight wasn't close at all and u know it should have been an UD.
