... and on behalf of Miguel, I would like to thank the two judges that saw him winning the fight as did the people in attendance at his last fight in NY. Thank you.

well, i have listen of a "world champion" who was crowned lightweight champion by beating a fighter on the level of, let's see...DAVID DIAZ, who just got outboxed by an over the hill Erik Morales.

Pac is much smaller than Cotto and really has no business fighting natural welter weights so of coarse he will seek out as many advantages as he possible can; never mind the fact that he's the bigger draw and thus has the negociating leaverage. And if Sugar Ray Leonard can fight for Donny Lelonde's 175 lbs title at 168lbs then why shouldn't Pac be able to fight for the 147lbs title at 145? As far as I'm concerned as long as a fighter makes weight in a title bout, the belt should be on the line no matter how low the agreed upon catch weight is.

Good for Cotto and good for boxing. Its time fighters stopped pulling their pants down to satisfy the demands of the "pound for pound" fighters. Its time they stand up and demand respect. Truly, if Pacquiao wanted a belt, he would have fought at welterweight. If he doesn't want to fight at welterweight, then there should be no belt on the line. Simple as that. :happy

WBO president said that Pac is the #1 challenger for Cottos' belt. If Cotto gives the belt back to WBO and Pac wins, will Pac get the belt since the title was vacated? Just asking.

So because Donny Lelonde was dumb enough to put his 175 belt on the line at 168, and Hagler was dumb to have given in to SRL's demands as well, Cotto should be just as dumb as they were? Is that what you are saying?

Come on *******s, you all need to try harder than this.

Who cares about the belt. Pacquiao never cared for fighting for titles anyways that is why he held the wbc international super featherweight for so long instead of fighting for the legit belt @ 130.

I'm glad cotto is talking **** cuz it will make the fight more interesting. Go pacman:good

Yeah he's not Oscar or Hatton ... he's a little in between ... he's going to fall on his back like Hatton and maybe just maybe have enough heart so he can quit on his feet like Oscar.

agree:good Pac will be too much for cotto. I see pac winning this fight either by tko-ko or a decision.
