pac has his own promotional company, so he might be able to go around floyd's bluff to make this fight if he can arrange it with arum to front for top rank.

i also think floyd will fall into the common mistake of pacs past opponents in seeing him as small enough and unskilled enough to be no threat, yet offer enough name and money to contend with. same reason pac has gotten all the breaks he had in boxing. man... i look forward to pac trying to prove that wrong again if given this fight.

The Floyd-Pacman fight will never happen, because Cotto is going to knock Manny out. You guys are forgetting who has the better chin. Cotto's jaw has never failed him. The loss to Margarito was a stamina knock-out. Cotto is going to attack this time, no running away. Stamina will not be an issue here.

i find it kind of funny that after every opponent that Pac puts down, there comes a reason:

ODH _ weight drained, over the hill
Hatton - never was good anyway, no defense
    Diaz - a paper champ
Eric M - past his prime too.

and some are even making reasons for people he hasn't evan fought yet:

Cotto - not the same since Margo
    PBF - past his prime

why is it so hard for some people to just give the boxer his due? the mans coming up, if another boxer gets in the ring less than 100% that's their fault, not Manny's. who wouldn't capitalize on an opponents weakness's to get the W? Don't trash the man cause you lost some $, or he beat your fav boxer.

Gayweather doesn't need Roach's advise... he can DUCK Pacman all by himself.

I DONT RECALL ANYONE SAYING OSCAR WAS DRAINED...HE JUST DIDN'T TRAIN TO DO ANYTHING BUT MAKE WEIGHT!!

Roach is just baiting his hooks early that's all. It seems a good and prudent thing to do,especially if he wants to start some negotiations for Mannys next fight after Cotto. All negotiations obviously will be conditional and rely on Manny winning against Cotto.

Roach seems as relaxed and as certain about a Floyd-Pacman outcome as he appeared before the ODH and Hatton fights.....i tend to think he truly means what he is saying.....but is it just simply mind games?? could it possible be more of a by product of what he said than why he said it??.

Be mindful of any man who knows what he is talking about and gets the right results because of the fact. Some say Roach is getting too cocky or whatever.....hes not yelling or rapping or writing poems yet... so i think hes still got his feet firmly planted on the ground:good

I know one thing though....Manny aint ducking for cover or cherry picking.Cotto is no easy beat.He is well within his rights to not put the title on the line....but how much will the title mean to him if he loses the fight and still gets called the Champ?...but thats another story i guess.:hat

Roach is setting himself and Manny up for a big fall. If Manny loses to Cotto the Mayweather fight is out of the window and the "great" roach looks like a ass. Roach is just bitter that he hasn't been able to produce a gameplan to beat mayweather.

    Just trash talk and hype.

The fight will happen provided both Pacquiao and Mayweather win their upcoming bouts.

Hmm the same Roach that claimed he didnt know How pac would beat floyd??? the same roach that said Floyd would force Manny to walk to him and look to counter??? Roach talks like he has two heads. Floyd is the worst possible matchup out there for Manny and Roach has already said as much on his ESPN co-host date a few months back.

Shane Mosley has a better chance of beating PBF than Pac does. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Pac and Roach knows this. Pac can't deal with counter-punchers add that with speed and defense and it's no wonder why Roach said this bull****.:deal:yep
