The Klitschko nut-huggery around here is sickening.

All I hear is slurp slurp goes the Klitschko nutsack.

I'd bet that even right now today, if this fight were to get made, Evander has enough left in the tank to take a UD over the older Klit.

Nah. Hes too old and slow now. Vitali could keep him at bay with his jab and win an easy UD.
At his best Evander would make Vitali look silly though.

The Klitz would never fight this washed up version of Holyfield. It would border on homicide. Holyfield needs to have his license revoked, this guy is playing with his life.

Even the Holyfield from 10 years ago would have trouble landing any effective headbutts against an opponent the size of Klitschko.

Honestly, I thought Holyfield looked better against Valuev than Klitschko looked against Gomez.

Between the two, based on their last performance, I thought the Klit looked older, slower, and much less mobile.

I'm not totally confident that the Klit we saw against Gomez could keep EH off of him with the jab for 12 rounds..

Holyfield should stop taking all that HGH and retire for good. We all realize he's broke and needs the money but after all he's risking his health. Didn't he have a hole in his heart? Him still fighting makes you wonder if he also has one in his brain.

Dude stfu. Vitali even if he look old and slow vs Gomez will still easily destroyed an old shot Holyfield. Vitali still easily beat up Gomez while Holyfield fought like he's scared to take a risk when he was one that was moving around the ring waiting to throw a punch. And Holyfield vs Valuev was one of the most boring fights in the history of boxing.

Valuev said before the fight with Holyfield that he never wanted this fight and Sauerland forced him to take it. He said how Holyfield was his idol during his adolescence and he refused to seriously hurt Holyfield.

First of all, I think this is silly. Klitschko kills Holyfield at this point.

But I really would like to know where this thought came that Vitali didn't do well against Gomez. I read so much about it you would have thought the scorecards were even at the time of the stoppage. Gomez won the first round of that fight on the scorecards and then lost everyone. So, it took an old, washed up Vitali one round to figure out Gomez and that's what we are basing are assumption that Holyfield could beat him.

Also, as another poster said, Valuev had very little interest in fighting Holyfield. I am with the opinion that he should have gotten over that and concentrated on his job, but we know throughout history it's been hard for fighters to beat up their idols. Again, I think if he was capable, which I feel he was, he should have obviously fought his best against Holyfield, but I can't imagine I would enjoy beating up my idol when it's very clear he's more than past the end of his career.
