It doesnt matter anyway cause even if pac wins hes gonna vacate ***** out of fighting any welterweights like say MOSLEY. And cotto will just fight for the vacant title. If pac wanted the belt he would force cotto to defend it by fighting at welterweight but he would sooner drain him cause he knows he cant beat a welter

why cotto suggested 145? it's not pac who asked for 145. pac just accepted it.

Belt or no belt we are in for a great fight i could care less about that strap but Pac seems to want it and in the end i see him getting it via negotiation's/money.

Let Cotto come in at his natural weight and then it would be a legitimate title fight.

    NO.

Pac can fight at any weight he wants for the title, but he needs to let Cotto fight at any weight no higher than the LIMIT which is 147.

no it isn't .. you are wrong ... 141-147 is a range of weights

the only limit placed on Welterweight is 147. and THAT is the welterweight limit right? Welterweights can go up to 147, but not over, agreed?

it only becomes an issue if a fighter is over the limit (+147).

and regarding the yellow, yes Pacquiao could do that

as Welterweight is up to 147, and 135 is clearly under 147.

Cotto suggested 145 becuase before any negotiations had started Roach had already opened his mouth sayin Pac could fight him or Mosley but that it would have to be around 142-143 pounds. Hence Cotto simply said 145 is the lowest I'll go, take it or leave it. :good
