Will vargas be a hall of famer ?

He did beat 2 possible hall of famers in Wright and Quartey and was a 2 time beltholder not to mention the youngest jr. middleweight champion ever. He also beat solid contenders in Castijello, Campas, and Marquez, but lost to the 3 biggest fighters he faced in Tito, Mosley, and De La Hoya and he also lost to Mayorga which doesnt look good. So is he a hall of famer ?

Hall of Very Good, but not Hall of Fame. His peak was far too short.

I would say yes and I don't like Vargas. Look how he performed against Trinidad, that's a HOF performance right there, add wins over Quartey and Wright.

Remember, his win over Wright was extremely controversial. On the other hand I can compare his longevity to Terry Norris', who is in the IHOF. So yes he deserves it.

The thing is though, that Terry fought much more and achieved much more than Vargas during a similar time span. Also got to give credit to my man because those knockout losses didn't ruin him as a fighter compared to Vargas.
