Hes been offered a fight with Cruz regardless

so it really doesnt matter who he fights

IMO both fighters still have ALOT todo before they should event think about getting in the ring with Cruz

pajo and eddie gets rated by IBF after winning the international titles, was talking to paddy snr at the after party they are in no rush with pajo eddie or paulie things are moving along nicely he also said they were asked about pajo and cruz by egan while they would love a world title shot paddy said the boys are still learning and that would be to much this year maybe next year

Good lad shame i didnt know you were there would have liked to say hello!

Yeah I had a chat with paddy myself a few days before the fights theyre definately in no rush!

but you have to manage the expectation of the fans on here!

If you have people talking about title shots now you leave the door open for "paddy and eddies careers being wasted fight bums when they could be fighting for world titles" you know all the usual shite some people come out with!

The posters on the irish thread are good but theres alot of other posters that come in here for information and its important that they have realistic expectations of the boys!

any road either fighter would be wise to look for a crack at Choi!

he would represent a step up in class for both fighters

and a little birdie told me that he will be ranked by the IBF in their next rankings aswell!

    :deal

If it was a better champion than Cruz, I'd be saying Lindsay is being pushed too soon. However after seeing his last two fights I really think Lindsay can pull it off. He'll never get a decision in Mexico but he won't need any judges if he lands like he did against Appleby and can muster up monster punches like the one against Matthews.

I was talking to Pajo after his last fight and he did say he'd really want a crack at Choi. I'm not sure it'd be wise to put him straight in with Choi, next but maybe another 12 rounder with someone a little better than Tebazalwa.

Patrick seems to have his head screwed on too, he admitted himself he's not ready for Cruz now but in a years time things would be different.

Adam has Paddy Snr been told by an IBF official that the lads are going to be IBF top 15 ?, because as I've said before winning the IBF International title does not guarantee that(just ask Paul McCloskey).

I tell you what, Choi is not getting any younger, he was inactive for a year after the Derry Matthews fight, now would be a good time for Pajo et al to fight Choi, if they beat him it would be quite a scalp. If they lose then, no shame at all, they will have gained great experience that they can come back from.

*Adam, what do you reckon mate?
