This is a picture of Gatti's wife being released. Doesn't her smile look like she is truly grieving the loss of her husband?.?.

I read that Gatti's will WAS changed and she and her daughter are the primary beneficiaries.

Or she might be happy because she just realized that she's a free woman?

Being freed after thinking that you're going to spend the next 30 years in a prison in Brazil for something you didn't do, can make you smile a bit. R.I.P Gatti.

Amanda Rodrigues, front, leaves a women's prison with her sister Flavia in Recife, Brazil, on July 30, 2009. She thanked supporters who believed in her innocence.

I side with this side of the arguement. It ****ing sucks that Gatti is dead but shouldn't we at least accept that it is plausible she's not to blame rather than a lying murderer? No hate please, I'm just trying to see all sides of the arguement without bias:good.

    Exactly.

And how are the Brazillian authorities so undeniably, cast-iron reliable with regards to the release of the initial information (which most people have, depressingly, taken as gospel, reaffirming the reactionary nature of mankind) yet undoubtedly corrupt and filled with lies with the suicide verdict?

Yeah, the judgement of people on this website is clearly clouded by Gatti's former profession. It is not possible to come to a reliable conclusion given the limited access we have to evidence and witnesses, but I'm sure people will tell us otherwise.

Did she ever express sadness at the death of her husband? Did she ever say she loved him?

All we read was telling her son I will be found innocent and I will be home soon.

She was quoted as saying that her priority was to see the 10-month-old son she had with Gatti, grieve for her husband and clear her name in the case.

"All of my plans and dreams involved Arturo. I haven't been able to think of anything beyond that," she said. "My plan now is to stay with my son, my father, mom and sister, nothing more than this."

"There is no one who can doubt my love for Arturo or his for me. Arturo got married at 34 years of age, he was never married before, and this demonstrates the love that he had for me," Rodrigues said. "I was the only wife of Arturo and I want my good name back. Not only just for me, but out of respect for my husband and my son."
