No, if Manny wants the Welterweight title he should move up to 147, 2 more lbs won't kill him.

    I think he should.

Ultimatley MP is the bigger draw and Cotto could do with MP much more then the other way round.

Yet, Oscar still came in about a 2-1 favorite. Did you bet on Pac since you seemed so sure

Neither would COTTO. I think the bottom line is COTTO is SCARED, plain and simple. He saw what happened to HATTON. Because if he's not risking his TITLE? Obviously he's got no confidence he can beat the PACMAN! FEAR! :hat

I didn't bet on anything cause i wasn't sure who would win. At first from the beggining when i first heard about De la hoya vs Pacquiao was being a possiblity i admit i said Pacquiao didn't have a chance but when i think about it, i was saying too myself "Wait Oscar hasn't fought at 147 pounds in 8 years, how can he not kill himself to make weight?" And i have said i seen pictures of Oscar in training and he look weak and he look real skinny. But everyone didn't notice it cause they only think about is size.

Cotto is scared?:lol::lol::lol::lol: Wow stupid biased Pacquiao fans in full effect. Cotto has fought Torres, Paulie (when he was undefeated), Quintana ( in Cotto first fight at 147 pounds), Mosley, Margarito, Clottey and Cotto is scared to put his title on the line vs Pacquiao? lol stfu.

Freddie Roach whilst a great trainer gets on my ballsack.

If Manny wants the title then the weight limit is 147.

You cant have your cake and eat it Roachy baby.

What I think is Manny should say something like "I'll move up to 147 if you put the title up" if Cotto doesnt agree then you can say he's scared. Otherwise Cotto has a good arguement, why should he put it up if its to at Welterweight.

If the fight is at 147 than they needa make the weight limit 147...No need for a fight at 145...I dont recall any recent fights where the title was at stake but the weight was under the limit!

I'm really starting to dislike Roach and his BS. If Roach and Pac want the title, take away the restrictions and get it at 147.

Roach and Pacquiao's crew are making a lot of noise about this. All they have to do is agree to 147 and Cotto will agree. If you have confidence in your man, then agree. Otherwise, just let it go. Cotto already agreed to the catch weight.

Remember, the other issue is the crooked WBO. They are standing with their hand out waiting on the sanctioning fee. Cotto is smart not to agree. I'd rather see him turn the belt in than put up with this.

    Not by me.

    I'm a fan.

However, as you must know, there are a number of Pac haters on here (a large number) and they could taint any title fight victory if the correctv limits weren't permitted.

If 2 lbs means so little, it should mean little to Pac.

I'm fine with the fight at a catchweight. It would be a great victory for Pac if he wins.

But it would be even greater if he fought for the title under the usual conditions and won.

    No ifs, maybes, excuses.

The winner is the Welter wt champ.

It's in Pac's interest to have this bout at 147.

Exactly what I'm saying right from ther start. Pacquiao has no business fighting above 140 . . . especially if it's just an exibition fight. Crazy and stupid risk for nothing.

Pac can just wait for the winner of Bradley/Campbell fight and try to capture another belt at 140 in November or go for Mosley.

Or.....just give Cotto a bigger slice of the pie. He's getting what?? Like 35%? Give him 45% and I'm sure he'll put up the title. That's like ather $1.5 Mill on top of the gurantee he already has.....not including the PPVs. Just make the damn fight....145 or 147..it don't matter.
