Not yet. Personally, I'd like to see him up against some good European level opposition first:good.

I'd like to see him slow down super feather is not very deep and Cruz showed he isn't as easy a target as people were saying before his last fight. A few more 12 rounders would be ideal.

I recall Buncey discussing the exact point where he said he should not be put anywhere near one of the top guys and should concentrate on British level first

i think its too soon,a decent victory over Scotland Pauls appleby and over Derry (but being honest Derry isisnt the fighter we thought he was) but he could do with a few ore fights inbetween .but all the best.

i think he,s ready now but give him 12 /16 months after he cleans up the domestic and european scence. he is the best feather in europe by some way i think he has great skills and heart just what u need to make it to the top.

Couple more defences of British title, then European title fight next summer, world title shot 2011. All at the Ulster Hall, bar the world title fight which could be on the same bill as Rogey at Casement Park, summer 2011.

    That's that sorted then, lol

I would say its a bit too soon, he needs to get a bit more experience before this step up.

Of course if he got the call I'm sure he'd jump at the opportunity, and I wouldn't bet against him pulling off the win either.

Ideally though you'd like to see him mix it up a bit against a couple of Euro level fighters first, just to make sure he has his feet firmly planted at that kinda level. Then he can go for the big one.
