I don't think there's really a meaningful answer to this question. You will basically get people doing what you have done, which is go for your favourite fighter's best performance.

Part of the problem is "perfect" is a word that you can interpret.

You could take it to mean the perfect example of hitting without being hit, the sweet science - in which case i'll go for Loche-Fuji.

You could mean the most perfect display of a given fighter in his given style, in which case I will go for Frazier-Foster.

For pitch perfect punching, how about Lopez-Preecha?

But all of these are debateable.

EDIT: Out of the options in the poll I voted for Sugar.

It should really be a domination of an elite opponent, so I went for Jones-Toney, although there are others.

Tyson at his best had some flawless performances, actually hard to pick 1

    Pacquaio does well here, Pacman-MAB 1, Pacman-Hatton.

    Also Ali-Liston 1

Toney was weight-drained. So was LaMotta, but the film says less so.

Toney was always weight drained though, its likely he was less weight drained in a super fight like this as he'd likely be training harder

I hear you there... maybe I should have worded it something like `Which one of these performances blew you away most for whatever reason ?`

That would probably have been a better title actually.

Pernell Whitaker vs Azumah Nelson IMO.

    Of the ones you listed:

1 - Sugar Ray Robinson TKO14 Jake Lamotta
    2 - Bernard Hopkins TKO12 Felix Trinidad
3 - Pernell Whitaker W12 Jose Luis Ramirez II
4 - Julio Cesar Chavez TKO11 Edwin Rosario
    5 - Muhammad Ali TKO3 Cleveland Williams
6 - Roy Jones jr W12 James Toney
    7 - Joe Calzaghe W12 Jeff Lacy
8 - Floyd Mayweather jr TKO6 Arturo Gatti

(I think Corrales was a better performance by Floyd, everyone knew Gatti was there to be a punching bag. Mayweather-Corrales would be number 5 on that list if you included it, pushing Ali, Jones and Calzaghe down one place each).

That was a great performance, as was Floyd-Corrales, I thought of including them but I didnt want to have more than one fight for any one fighter on the poll + Pea dropped a couple of rds vs the professor, he embarrassed Ramirez 12-0 while fighting more aggressively, I think it was a better performance even taking into account that Nelson was better than Ramirez.

You should have mentioned Mayweather-Corrales instead of the Gatti one. It was Mayweather at his peak weight and it was evens with the betting.

Roy Jones over James Toney just like I thought. Wasnt James the top man at the time?
