Uh, no. He's concerned that he's giving legitimacy and cash to a shitty promotion when the UFC is doing just fine on its own.

It's like Coca Cola teaming up with Timmy's lemonade stand to sell a new beverage. What's in it for Coke, exactly? The UFC doesn't need M1 to be popular and make money. But M1 needs the UFC. See how that works?

I'm no Dana White fan, but this is simple business here. You don't split your product with a non-entity like M1.

Surely Fedor can step up here & accept this deal & tell M1 that they may as well accept because he aint doing **** for them if they dont.

    No ?

Yeah and then we find Fedors head displayed on a stake in Red Square.

Dana already hinted at this..The Fertittas wouldnt do business with Vadim...its just not possible. Translation.. they dont do business with the Russian mob

I don't think Dana is afraid of Fedor beating Lesnar. I am listening to a interview on sherdog that says M-1 Global is stopping Fedor right now from going to the UFC. It seems like M-1 is making sure their pockets are lined before they worry about Fedors interests.

Also, I don't see why Dana would want too cross promote. Their isn't anyone out there worth cross promoting with.

What match ups are there worth seeing? Dana seemed to have no trouble picking anyone else up so I really don't believe his contracts are bad.

Even if they wanted to cross-promote it isn't as easy as it sounds. It's ridiculous to ask for cross-promotion because of 1 fighter. It's stupid.

I am starting to lose all my interest in Fedor right now. His last two KO's were Ko'd by other guys since.

I really am starting too wonder what credibility Fedor has for beating Sylvia, it looked great, but Sylvia got KO'd by Mercer shortly after.

AA got KO'd by Brett Rogers which blew my mind, but it happened.

So I have to ask, is Fedor the greatest HW in the world right now or is he just smoke and mirrors? I know he has beat the best in the past, but he really hasn't beat anyone in a few years that seem to be holding their careers well anymore.

You also have to ask yourself who else has done anything close to what he has done. It isn't just recently either. He is undefeated bar some stupid technicality. That also counts for something.

I agree with what your saying, but I just don't know if he has been tested in the last few years. I would almost say 05. That's 4 years ago when he fought Cro Cop when Cro Cop was at his best.

I guess you could say he fought Lindland in 07 too but even then the top competition seems to be few and far between in Fedor;s fights. I am not sitting here saying he is a bum by any means. But I am starting to wonder if Fedor wants big fights or not.

Who is he supposed to fight next? Kimbo:lol::lol::lol::lol:

It just seems like the UFC really tried to get him and M1 would not go for it, its a shame really, because when Fedor get top competition down the road he may be too old.

Yes, his comp wasn't that good from 2005 to 2008, but you also have to remember people were saying that finally Fedor would be tested against Sylvia and Arlovski. I don't think what happened to them after the fact should detract from what Fedor has done.

Fedor has beaten all the best fighters of his generation with the exception of Couture (for obvious reasons) and Barnett (Barnett's fault). His legacy is secure as (at the moment at least) the GOAT and anything now is just adding to it.

Also I blame M-1 for this whole debacle but i don't think it will have a bad effect on how Fedor is viewed (at least it shouldn't).

just about the perfect post to describe this situation although you could add that in copromotion cocacola would be giving timmys lemonade half of all profits too which is beyond ******ed

Some of you nuthuggers are pitiful. The UFC Heavyweight Division is awful. Their 'champion' is a former WWF wrestler for christ sakes.

Dana White is a clown who signs fighters to slave contracts he controls their name and image and they can't even wipe their ass without having to ask him first.

The UFC's pay scales is also a joke only the top 3 or 4 guys get paid anything that is worth it.

Fedor does not need the UFC he has already beat 5 of their former champions he can sell out arenas on 3 different continents.

Dana White is a greedy POS who will lie, cheat, and steal to make an extra nickel.
