Oh yeah...because Pac has such an advantage over Cotto. Give me a f*cking break!

On fight night Cotto may weigh 160 pounds. 160 POUNDS!! and Pac can't weigh above 147/8.

HOW IN THE HELL IS BEING OUTWEIGHED BY 13 POUNDS AN ADVANTAGE FOR PACQUIAO?

NO!! You are wrong! They are a couple of interviews recorded where Cotto said: "I dont need PAcquiao but if he wants to fight me I am available". That is not calling him out. Second, Cotto did say he would not go lower than 145lbs. That was in response to Pac 143lbs offer. Thats when Pac say he wil fight at 145lbs.
Third, PAC IS THE BIGGEST DRAW. I never say otherwise. In fact, I said that was because the big promotion machine behind him. That was exactly my point. Manny could be biggest pay day for Miguel. STILL, Miguel is the CHAMPION. The is not reason for him to agree to defend the tittle under such unfair economic condition. Like I said, He could go fight 3 "Michael Jennings" and his bank account will look as good as fighting Manny. It will be 3 fights instead of one. But still, less risk.

Why doesn't someone just call the IBO or WBF (the IBF are close on their current form)and tell them to have one of their belts on the line.

Then the fight will be for the newly created super light welterweight championship!

I don't think he is even planning to defend it. Unless is against Floyd. Because the money will be huge.

I agree with the thread starter. Pac needs Cotto more than anything else. Without Cotto who would Pac be fighting instead???? Mosley? Fat chance. Pac knows Mosley would put Pacman into the ****ing stratosphere. Along with that Pac knows theres no ****ing way he's KOing Mosley.
Little ***boy Pac wants his 7th belt well fight at 147 you little ****ing coward!!!!!!

Legacy, The man, P4P king, Exactly the bull**** I mentioned at the end of my comment. Mayweather?? We all know Mayweather is more likely to fight the loser than the winner. (whoever that its) COTTO/MOSLEY??? That fight doesn't need Pacquiao to sell. Cotto beat Mosley in a very close fight and Mosley destroyed Margarito. The expectations for that fight would be HUGE!!!! They definitely don't need MAnny for this. PAC MIGHT BE THE #1. STILL, THIS IS NOT EVEN ABOUT COTTO. THE ORGANIZATION SHOULD NOT ALLOW A CHALLENGER TO COME AND CHANGE THE ****ING RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great post Pacquiao has the boxing world by the balls until he loses its that simple , he is holding the WW division to randsome by these ****in shitty catch weights and is being allowed to get away with it , unfortunatley like i say until somebody beats him this aint going away !!!!!!

Cotto is a huge name in boxing , but Manny is simply the biggest name in boxing .

How does Pac need Cotto in any way? You just writing **** without even thinking about what you are typing.

Incase you didn't notice Pac is the P4P Number 1 in the world and everyone is lining up to fight him for HUGE money.

Besides Pac doesn't even need to fight he can just wait for the winner of Mayweather - JMM.

You think having Legacy, being P4P King and The man are bull****?

They stand for more than the joke that is the WBO title. Pac already has legacy, is the man and P4P King. So he needs a reason to fight, it just so happens that that reason is for a shitty belt.

Because that shitty belt lets him beat DLHs record of 6 World titles.

I agree he is typing **** !!!!!! however its not that simple :

Bob Arum is the reason this fight is happening no other Bob Arum and Arum will not do business with Floyd !!!!!!!!!! , so from a promoters POV this is a dream a dream that Arum man made and is close to pulling off .

Buddy, you need to check your boxing knowledge. Pacquiao did started to fight at 106lbs. But that was 1 month after turning 16y/o. At that age Miguel Cotto was getting beat by Ivan Calderon in the island!!!!!!!:deal:deal:deal

We all know Pac has all the financial advantages. Cotto is getting what is important - the advantages in the ring.

DLH made a big mistake by underestimating Pac. He came in at 145! Cotto is not going to do the same thing. (now we know what there meeting on the golf course was about)
