Well n00b you're not that bright, but then again most of you arent. Sure a few fighters want Pac, but Pac will only fights who he wants. If he wanted to fight the best WW in the world he'd be fighting Shane Mosley, if he was Gayweather and Marquez don't matter in the slightest. Mayweather and Marquez really don't matter anyway. So n00b of "all" the fighters lining up to fight Pac who aside from Cotto do you really think he'd fight? Please tell me
Marquez, thats it. Remember Gayweather isn't lining up to fight Pac. Fact is Cotto is one of the only big names left that Pac is WILLING to fight.

People are saying if Arum wasn't involved we wouldn't have the mess and miscommunication between Pac and Cotto. (wasn't he on holiday when the contract was being drawn up?)

    Two things are true here:

It is a technicality.. If I was Cotto's trainer I would make him work so hard he would show up at 145-146lbs anyways. He needs speed and stamina against MAnny. But rules are rules!!!!

Second, Does Manny needs Cotto???? In a way, YES!!! Who else is he going to fight???
Clottey??? He just lost his last fight. Berto??? OH PLEASE!!!!!, Margarito??? SUSPENDED. Floyd and MArquez are busy. MOSLEY???????? GO RIGHT AHEAD!!!!!! Shane will send his head to the Phillipines in a ****ing box.

He has better chance against Cotto due to his defense and stamina issues. But if Cotto comes in the best shape of his life, it could be a bad night for MAnny.

I just read in the Puerto Rican newspaper Varcarcel just said during a charity golf game in Puerto Rico that the fight will be for the tittle. I don't know what is that about. He can't make Cotto pay the money. He could just vacate the damn belt.

Well said. If the title is not on the line, Pac gets absolutely nothing for this fight...the haters already have their excuses ready anyways. ruined by margo and 1lb less than his last fight. Cotto on the other hand has everything to gain, beating Pac can be his ticket to superstardom and huge showdown with PBF and for future fights he will be in the driving seat. I suppose he can always rematch Clottey.

Pac needs to make a decision whats more valuable: A belt, or 2 pounds. He shouldnt be allowed to have both. It moral decision he needs to make.
He wants the belt on the line great. The fights at 147
He wants the fight at 145 fine. No belt
Why is this simple subject beyond the comprehension of so many *******s?

maybe you need to check yours and see how many people jump 3-4 weight divisions within 18 months and is still somehow the same size as the new division he fights in...he fought at 130 pounds a year ago.....whats your point? bottom line is he is still the small guy...if cotto wants to ***** about weight, fight paul williams or someone at 147-154, then he wouldnt have to "drain" himself

You still don't get. Cotto bitching??? You act like Cotto is the one coming with all the special requirements. Let's remember this all started with Manny wanting to fight Cotto, not the other way around.
Cotto is not the one jumping around weight classes. Its MAnny. Cotto is in his weight class and he has fought all top fighters there except Floyd because.... Well, we all know Floyd. And Paul, because nobody really knows where the hell is he fighting next.

Ant it was you who brought the weight at which Manny started. Of course a 16y/o kid will fight at smaller weight than a 30 years old man.
