People are still too harsh on Pacquiao's skills. They are pretty good now.

Cotto has better technical skills in a traditional sense. He does things more by the book.

Pac is a much better overall athlete.

I think if you toned down Pacquiao's speed so it was relative to Cotto's we'd find Cotto is the better actual boxer but its not a blow out. Not since Pacquiao improved his jab and lateral movement.

You have somehow managed to become even more a ****ing idiot than you were when you said Roy Jones was happy when he got KO'd by Tarver and Johnson because it had helped their careers. Seriously mate, you are thicker than pig-****.

So because Pacquiao is aggressive and stops his opponents, that's not outboxing them? When he wins round after round after round by attacking, that's not boxing? When he hits cleanly far more times than he is hit back, that's not boxing?

You are not a fan of boxing, you are a fan of one style of boxing.

How the hell does Cotto even have any votes?? hes good but were talking Pacquiao here. just his movement and footwork make him a better boxer, not to mention all the other things he does

    :happy

Not to mention the fact that he would NEVER stand like a dummy against the ropes eating uppercuts and getting his face tattooed by a crude slugger like Margarito, with absolutely no idea of how to protect himself or how to change the fight.

    Offensively:

    Cotto sets you up.
    &
Pacman takes what ever you give him.

    Defensively:

    Cotto blocks your punches.
    &
    Pacman makes you miss.

Close but i go with Pacman.

Pacquiao has no footwork ... he has no true skill ... he walks around the ring like a ****in mummy when he's punching ... he's wild as hell ... I seen him ducking out of the way from one of Hatton's punches while having his head turn threw a punch leaving himself wide open.

The weakness in Emmanuel Dapidrans skill set is his jab. He does not commit to it like he should. His footwork is fine imo. ED still backs away from punches which is a flaw imo. ED is not an inside fighter as if you get too close to him or corner him, he usually clinches or covers up and moves away. Rarely do you see him fight off of the ropes. Great fighters have a talent that is misunderstood. If I had Pac's speed, why would I commit to a jab ala Roy Jones. Jones had a jab but rarely used it. Cotto's weakness is his right hand. It has no power. Cotto is a well schooled boxer in all areas, but Emmanuel Dapidran is a unique talent.

Pac doesn't take whatever you give him ... that guy just throws punches and creates openings. Thats one dope thing about Pacquiao is that he's not going to wait for you ... some of you guys have to pay more attention to the fights.

Pac looked totally outclassed by Morales in their fight, and it wasn't like Morales outboxed Emmanuel Dapidran...EM beat ED by out boxing and out slugging ED so please, stop with the belittlement of Cotto because you look like an ass...

Roy Jones never used a jab. Roy Jones's defence was based on movement.

Who was more skilled - Roy Jones or Miguel Cotto?
