    Skill wise is Cotto.

Cotto's downfall is his average stamina and ability to absorb punishment.

How do you work out that Chavez is skilled and Duran isn't?

    Why do you think that?

so much said in a sentence and 1/3.

I agree but I didn't want to point out physical flaws ... technically he's not all that bad.

I'm saying he wasn't "totally outclassed".

Pacquiao totally outclassed David Diaz, Mayweather totally outclassed Arturo Gatti, Hopkins totally outclassed Kelly Pavlik.

To say Morales "totally outclassed" Pacquiao is pathetic. I doubt you've even seen the fight, making a comment like that.

Dawson is more skilled than Duran. Never in my life did I think I would read a post as bad as this. You are a legend.

Chavez threw more compact punches ... wasn't as wild ... he also had good upper body movement ... Duran was wild and strong ... good upperbody movment but inable to throw straight punches and unable to effectively box or outbox someone.

Chavez had more fights where he boxed his way to victory when at a disadvantage physically ... he would chip and chip away ... proving that physicallity doesn't always equal an easy "W" because Chavez was slow footed ... slow puncher ...

Look at the Taylor fight ... he didn't win because he was strong he won because he was smarter and more technical.

Just because Duran is accomplished doesn't mean he has all the skills or better skills than someone who's not as accomplished as he.

You find a guy who doesn't need skills to get by because he's strong and relentless then goddamit thats Duran.

Fitzgeraldz, you have no idea how horribly, tragically wrong you are. I'm not even going to bother starting, because you just do not have the first ****ing clue. You're the worst poster on the internet.

    TFFP;
look how many times Pac's back foot comes off the ground during that Clip ... look how many times he squares up to Morales ... look how many times he's leaves himself open ... now he can evolve all he wants ... but ultimately this guy will revert back to that when he's faced with a more skilled boxer than he.

You got any clips of Cotto?
    and
Pac to compare the two so people can make an argument off that?

Yeah, but Rooney seems to think Pacquiao is not an 'athlete', we're not even talking skills. He obviously can't even begin to comprehend the word 'athlete', or is a pure ******. My money is on the latter.
