I don't think Pavlik beats anyone out of the super six ... I don't even think he beat Taylor the second time around ... he was protected from Abraham and Froch is too big ... Kessler's too skilled ... Dirrell and Ward are too athletic ... Taylor can outbox him if it came down to it ... he redeemed himself.

Froch would beat Pav. Pav isn't a natural SMW and Taylor had Pav on ***** street in their 1st fight, far worse than he did Froch....any disputes (honestly)? If Pavlik can't get off the straight one-two he's ****ed and Froch has many more punches in his arsenal and is a more intelligent fighter and gets better advice from his corner. Froch beats Pavlik, maybe a late stoppage but probably being fair to Pavlik a UD.

Pavlik's chin hasn't been truly tested ... he was hit by Miranda but Miranda was backing up ... Hopkins had that dude ready to go to sleep but never pulled the trigger.

    Zuniga put Kelly down.

I wonder if that's the reason booradley keep talking about that guy

    Kessler and Abraham

He outpoints Abraham though getting stunned a couple of times. Abraham is too passive for too long, depends where it is in Germany Abraham does an Ottke and gets away with it.

In US Pavlik by Wide UD too busy

Pavlik splitsb Kesslers body in 2

Zuniga put KP down for about 3 seconds, and then got his ass handed to him for 8 straight rounds.

I'd favor him against everyone but Kessler.

    :good

Very good chance vs Taylor, good chance vs AA.

I'd give him a fair chance of beating Ward or Dirrell.

There are no guarantees in boxing but Pavlik could beat any of those guys. I would make him the favorite at 160 over any of those guys except Abraham.

pavlik is the worst unified mw champ of all time. AA would smash him at mw and any contender at smw would of done the same. He is lucky b-hop smashed him because if he got the joe c match he was calling out at the time he'd be dead right now . Fact, and joe dont even have any power

For me he beats Froch, Taylor & Dirrell but loses to Abraham, Ward & Kessler.

Nothing but pure hate on here.Taylor had Pavlik doing the "silly dance" had he stood off him and picked his punches he would have KO'd Pavlik.
When Taylor dropped Froch it was no more than a flash knockdown,he caught Froch high on the temple and off balance,Froch wiped his face, looked to his corner then followed the refs count.
Froch will come unstuck when and if he meets a quick, skilled fighter with fast hands and decent pop,Pavlik is very predictable and one dimensional,Taylor's downfall was winging punches after the knockdown, then chasing and trying to stop Pavlik.
Froch may be limited and sluggish, but he'd have Pavlik out of there in 6 rounds.
