After watching the fight again, I came to the conclusion... Smoger let mosley fight through that 2nd round with basically nothing left.... These days, it would have DEFINITLY have been stopped and been a tko 2 by forrest. What do you guys think?? Watch the second round again, mosley was all over the place, even going MMA on forrest :rofl
You already said the key, which is that Smoger was the ref. He almost always lets fights go on further than most other referees.
Ive heard it posted here that shane fought with a concussion in this fight? Is that true? If so, I think it might have been caused by that headbutt. He looked funny after that butt happend, but i guess forrest squashed that a bit in the rematch
Mosley was very close to being stopped at the end of the round, no way should it have been stopped before that...he was on rubber legs but he was still catching Forrest with punches on the way in. Mosley really does have a great chin :good
Mosley said he suffered from two different concussions in the fight... the first one he claimed came from the headbutt.
