I voted 3 but but it could be 4. I have him beating Taylor, Dirrell, and Ward. I think he would lose to Kesslar by a wide UD and a close one to Froch (would be a hell of a fight) I could see him winning against Froch too though, it not unreasonable. And with AA I really just don't know. I havn't made up my mind on how good/bad AA is.

By the way this poll kinda brings a point to me how uninformed or just plain hating people on this forum are. There are way to many 0's... Do some of the people that voted even realize that Pavlik has already beaten Taylor 2 times? seriously..

Do you even follow boxing? Seriously? Pavlik never called Slappy Joe out. Slappy spent 6 months calling Pavlik out, and when KP said "Let's do it" Slappy ran the other way just as fast as his little duckling legs would carry him.

AA would smash him? Ya -- I'm sure Pavlik is scared spitless of a guy who lived off Bronco McKart and Raymond Joval's left overs!

These guys are just as big as Kelly which is his best weapon at 160. And they have more skills. Kessler would absolutely destroy him for every minute of every round. He could beat Dirrell, but not Froch. So 1.

So you think Ward and Taylor beat him, no doubt?

This version of Pavlik. The same guy who let Rubio last to the tenth. I would have to say yes to Ward. Taylor = Probably.

You make it sound like Rubio is some kind of a bum. He isn't, he's a legit contender with a pretty good chin. Anyway, this thread is just a matter of opinion, so no problems here.

Pavlik isn't the unified champ... Do you follow this sport?

KP has a chance against everyone, but Kessler in my opinion. Kessler is too much for him at this point in time.

Kelly has ring rust, has been inactive for a while and isn't at his best since the hopkins loss. i want to see him fight well but maybe hes on the decline.

So, a guy who is 43-4 with 37 KOs and challenges for the title is a bum?

If you have a point, speak up.

Yep he has no power or speed. And his defence is weak. The guy isn't top 10 at the weight. hes no where near it. He wouldn't win one minute of a round against Daniel Geale.

Well, he must be using plaster of paris to get 37 KOs in 43 fights.

For the record, Rubio has a 86% knockout ratio, while Geale has only 62%.

If you can't see the difference in skill in both fighers you need to take your goggles off. Geale is 10 times the fighter Rubio is.

I never mentioned anything about skill.

You said Rubio has no power, and I pointed out he got 37 out of his 43 wins by knockout. Therefore he does have power, so what you said was wrong.
