No ****, that's the big one, he says he saw the head-butt, but why didn't he stop the action to look at the fighters heads at that point?

That fat **** ref should be banned.

Regardless of what you think of Campbell and whether he quit or not, it's very very very difficult to defend the referee and his reasoning.

He basically admitted he got it wrong, then tried to cover his arse with some bull**** excuse about how he seen the blood after a punch Bradley through (which was blocked by Campbell and clearly seen to be blocked on video replay).

No matter what way you look at it, it was terrible officiating.

Big time **** up. He stumbled over himself, saying he saw it, but he saw the punch last. So that makes it okay not to check campbell even though you did it EVERYTIME prior?

Like I said, it was god awful officiating no matter what you think of Campbell.

How he can watch the video replay and still think he got it right is completely baffling. It was pretty much as clear an accidental headbutt as you'll ever see, there is very little room for dispute. How the ref can defend his reasoning... well.... I've no idea. Fair enough seeing it live, I do think you can see things different, as you've only a split second to see the action and make a decision.... but seen on replay, in in multiple angles, and in slow motion... Would of took a bigger man to admit he got it wrong, than try to defend himself.

The ref also ruled the cut from a punch. Directly after the headbutt was an uppercut which landed DIRECTLY afterwards. Campbell actually never pawed at his eye until after the uppercut. The ref doesn't have to stop a fight to check heads for any cuts.

Was the cut caused by the headbutt? Most likely... but the ref was right in saying that he had to rule on the last thing that he saw before the blood came down which was the uppercut.

He just needed to be decisive one way or the other, guys are gonna miss butts but he didn't make a call. He just stood there with that dumb look on his face.

Nate didn't complain because he was covering up to punches. You aren't going to let someone freely hit you in that position.
