The cut wasn't the point - Nate's eyeball was compressed by the butt

It's very obvious on one replay shot that Bradley's curved forehead caused the cut, but also hit Nate's eyeball at the same time, thus the bleeding behind the eye as confirmed by a doctor. Hospital report still to come, but they should make the injustice even clearer.

No decision due to an injury caused by an unintentional butt.

i feel slightly sorry for nate

the thing is Campbell didn't follow the protocol of letting the ref first assess and then getting the doctor on the apron. Once the doctor comes, you start claiming that you can't see and when the doc holds up two fingers, you say ELEVEN!

nate pulled some bull**** and for a crafty guy like him should've known better and got a easy no contest

I got this impression as well. I wonder if he outsmarted himself....although the guy above does possibly have a good point about Nate's eyeball......

Dude **** that If I even thought I was bleeding behind the eyeball I'd be at a hospital somewhere faster than you guys could turn off showtime.

What would have been the ruling if the but did not result in a cut, and Nate still refused to fight due to spotted vision?
