Damn i actually forgot about Cotto vs Clottey cause Clottey headbutt Cotto by accident and the blood was coming out of Cotto eyes. You could tell easily that it was bothering Cotto badly but did Cotto quit? Hell no. Campbell has just became a disgrace fighter for the way he quit.

Campbell is at the tail-end of his career, he is remarkably undamaged considering the line of work that he has chosen (and the number and quality of his fights). If he believes that there is a serious problem then he has every right to call an end to the fight, he should not have to permenantly damage himself and risk eye problems for the rest of his life in what might be one of his last fights just for over demanding fans like yourself.

Nate Campbell "soup can" was getting worked.... An accidental clash of heads caused the cut, Nate though he might do better next time and opted out. Ref didnt care though and gave the fight to the rightful winner. Karma for Campbell.

I loved the thunder entrance music though, almost made me root for the guy.

Many say Cotto career look like it might be over cause the way Cotto got beat up by Margarito but Cotto show everybody he ain't done and did you watch Cotto vs Clottey fight? Did Cotto took an easy way out when he was headbutted by Clottey in which the blood keep going in the eyes? Hell no. Cotto, Wright, Vitali, Roy Jones and so many more fought like a man when they had bloods coming out in their eyes but still continue on.

I think Nate could've continued, he showed lack of heart because he knew it wasn't his night. He wanted the fight declared a no contest so he could come back and fight another day.

Nate should of had a chance to rest. The ref never stopped the action to check him. He stated he clearly saw the head butt.

Do you have any proof that he could see?

Why didn't the ref stop the action to check on Campbell after the head butt?

Let's call it the way it is fellas. Campbell took the easy way out. That's fine. As a boxer who puts his life on the line, he's entitled to pick and choose when he wants to go on and when he wants to quit. His choice was probably the right one, especially if he was being legit about having issues seeing.

It's disappointing but we really have no ground to judge.

I believe the Cotto cut was after the 4th ... and Cotto could've went to the score cards but the location of the cut was different.

Nate is a warrior I won't question his heart. The cut was caused by a head but an should be ruled a no contest

He's a quitter. Overrated old man. Only his decent win over class-B Juan Diaz was on his resume.

The props he's talking about don't have anything to do with fighting, Its about the respect he showed to 2 fallen heroes. So win lose or draw he still get mad props.:yep
