witter was pathetic last night theres no getting away from that but if any of hattons fans want to bash witters performance then i suggest they waatch the pacman fight again which was nothin short of embarissing.

the sad fact is most of our fighters are now falling well short at world level , christ only 2 years ago we had half a dozen fighters with world straps ... wheres it all gone wrong

Unlucky to Witter, guess he should probably retire now. Time waits for no man and it looks like he just couldn't didn't have it tonight. No shame in that but I think he should hang em up.

Notice how quite a few unfamiliar posters have come out of the woodwork for a little gloat? People like that are fans of fighters, not boxing.

I think Rees's short reign has more to do with him winning the belt at a weight division to big for him rather than him not being very good. He's short for a feather let alone a LWW but he was given a chance so he took it., credit to him for pulling it off - deserved or not.

Rees at lightweight beats some good fighters imo, Rees v Murray would be a very good scrap indeed and I could easily see Rees stopping him and moving onto another title shot.

It was a sad end for Witter last night. Surely there can be no more talk about Witter-Hatton or Witter-Khan?

Hatton fans cant gloat over Witter losing

They whole argument is Witter was irrelevant to Hatton

So why would Hatton fans care that Witter lost

Hatton got badly KO'd last fight

Witter lost now a couple in the last year or so

Witter and hatton both been around a long time

Time they both hanged them up

You do remember me we were just talking last night? What did i say, Khan would beat Witter easier than people think. So who's logic is flawed now?

i would be interested to know how many of the people berating Witter for quitting have ever actually had the stones to box at all ? Let alone to go above and beyond ? To demonstrate gameness, to continue when they know they are beaten ? Any of you ?

He was not the greatest fighter, but he was a fighter.
