    The great Niccolino Locche. Heres a short clip of him in action against Carlos Ortiz only 3 mins so no excuse for not wathcing it (yes, even you LHL)

    Abit of background to the fight. The fight was declared a draw but most reports think Ortiz won the fight.

    I have added commentary on his defence.

    Carlos Ortiz fight is alot more rare and its only 3 mins. also i uploaded it and added comments, ill upload more Locche fights next weekend

    so use both fights if you want, i just want thoughts

    I think he was a defensive genius, on a par with Whitaker. I'd expect him to widely outpoint Hatton ;)

    This is almost as bad a fail as my 'Hatton blames training camp for Pacman loss' thread the other day- that said, it picked up after a few hours:yep.

    If you want people to comment, Pater, I'll say I disagree just to be a ****:D:good.

    hed make Hatton look like an idiot, not hard though.

    Definitly on par with Whittaker, id say better, he had a different defence style.

    There was a video on youtube top 10 defensive fighters. he was in i think at 3 or 4. Damn he knew range so well...he was inch perfect at slipping and bemused opponents. A real pleasure to watch and defensively yes he's up there with Sweet Pea. He would stand right in front of opponent and slip shots with hands down. Fantastic fight probably lacking in other areas which stopped him being a complete fighter but he was special that's for sure.

    The video i saw it had fantastic classical music to go with it and it fitted in with him so well but sadly it's been taken off for some reason.
