    that's not what i asked.... you seem to know everything about team pavlik, so why didn't they make this kind of offer to abraham?

    Given the conflicting schedules and mandatories, there was actually very little opportunity to make the fight. If you want a title unification fight, obviously both guys have to take care of their mandatories.

    Until very recently Abraham was never worth much money, but he wanted a career high pay day. As soon as he got a name and a rep in the USA that would mean good money, he left the division.

    That's how simple this really is.

    Ya -- it probably would have happened if Pavlik had not lost to an ATG, and the #1 LHW in the world. It also probably would have happened if Abraham had not decided to fight Pavlik's left overs. However, I will admit Pavlik's left overs are a significant step up compared to Raymond Joval's left overs'

    Now, make me a list of all the Hopkins quality fighters Abraham fought.
