you can respect any boxer who steps through the ropes, but witter quit.
,never been a fan really,i like my fighters to, err fight, don't get me wrong,he could when he could be arsed, but he showed again last night he can't fight at that level, just gets on his bike, judah was a disgrace, bradley just outworked him,and it sounds like last night he just quit cos he was losing, would of been better if he dropped his hands and went down for 10 off a punch,no disgrace in getting sparked, better than quiting

i Seen great fighters quit and we will see more fighters quit Junior won't be the only one to quit in a fight and won't be the last. i don't like quitting but before each fight i always pray that fighters look after there best interests...cos lets face it we don't feel there pain and have the long term affects of what they fight through.

I rather see Junior pull out on his own terms then get brutally knocked out and hurt badly for our entertainment....this is coming from a man who loves warriors...but we need to understand the go out on there shield fighters are loved for a reason....cos they are special they fight through terrible cuts and pain.

    icemax,u know ya love me:bart
mandanda, problem with this is witter quit while he wasent hurt(this is only a observation from the reports though)ive only seen boxers 'quit' after taking a beating for round after round, those who quit just cos they can't be arsed, are quiters, plain and simple.

when i watch the fight and witter looks like he was taking a twatting, and he quit becouse of this,i will hold my hand up,come to yours and icemax house with a couple of crates and drink till we drop:happy

I can't think of a less worthy comment on which to base a thread.

Who you talking to? who thinks there a keyboard warrior now?

I get off where I work 45-55 hour weeks to make ends meet this guy gets a world title fight and quits. That's where I get off. No one puts a gun to their head and makes them pick this sport for a living.

Who said anythin about their style?:deal

Now **** off, been on this site for 3-4 years and a comment hasn't pissed me off as much as yours.

So, I'm assuming your job demands the dedication to training of a high level professional athlete?

I'll also assume that whilst partaking in your particular field of employment, you run the risk of permenant injury, brain damage or death?

    :think

If the the answer to these questions is "yes", then feel free to disrespect whichever boxers you like, if the answer is "no", please keep that **** in check. :good

What appears to me is the same people who are pissed off for people calling Witter a quitter and demanding some respect is shown to the man, are the same people who have been slagging and name calling Hatton in the exact same thread.

And in every Hatton thread for years and years...

I felt really sorry for Witter in that interview. Just the "I wanted to but just couldn't" bits. Must be difficult when you lose a talent you had just a short time before.
