Even Sky have called Witter a 'quitter'! Maybe the harshest headline ever but still 100% true: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12183_5466682,00.html
That interview in his dressing room was so sad, i am not a fan of his, but i feel sorry for a fighter to be at the end of the road and not having achieved his dreams.
I'm not quite sure how old you people are..., but for ****s sake get a grip. The man has been beaten, what the **** is it to you? All the snide remarks mean nothing unless you can get in the ring and do better youselves.
Haye quit before he even got into the ring. Witter? Did he have a real injury? I really don't know, but I think Hatton would have knocked him out.
He looked like he was throwing with both to me, right up til the end In fact he was throwing huge shots with both hands iirc Also his behaviour was not consistent with an injury, he seemed more 'mentally deficient' from the start I don't buy it, personally
Witter wasn't taking any real punishment when he quit - I really believe he was injured. I don't buy the BS that a "boxer should just fight through it." Witter said the injury happened from round 4 and he tried to push through the fight but in the end it was futile. The media are unfairly roasting him IMO.
