I would say JMM but I am curious to see how people would vote. Diaz and Casa at 135 were both very impressive since it was the first time either guys has been stopped in their fights. Diaz sucks, Hoya was shot, and Hatton was a okay win even though he was showing signs of being shot. With that said Casa wasn't in his prime no more for sure either.

Def marquez..as you said they both jumped to lightweight and PAC picks a gimme in Diaz. A guy that has comes straight forward and has no defence and is slower then a sloth.hoya was so drained it wasn't funny and he had no business in the ring. And hatton ohh mr glass jaw hatton I don't know y people put so much stock in these wins it's beyond me. I like PAC too but I'll be on the same boat as y'all if he beats cotto but 4 now he's been cherrypicking unlike marquez

I feel the same way if he beats Cotto I am impressed but those three wins don't do it for me.

LOL this is no contest. Can't believe people voted for the latter.

  5. This one is a no brainer. Diaz was never very good, De la Hoya was horribly weight drained and Hatton was overrated. I dont even know how they let him fight the way he did against Kosta Tszyu. That was the ugliest win ever. Diaz and Casamayor on the other hand, were still competitive. Diaz was in his prime and Casamayor was coming off a very impressive victory. There's really no debate possible.

gotta be kidding me? cuz JMM strugled with a shot casamayor and a come-forward, pillow fisted fighter like Diaz(perfect for a master counterpuncher) you think he got a better resume? WTF is wrong with you people.Just cuz Pac made Diaz, Hoya and Hatton look like bums dont mean they were.:patsch

Pacquiao-Dela Hoya was considered a gross mismatch, a "circus" act, and because PacMan made a virtuoso performance out of it people try to talk it down. Years from now it will be remembered as an impossible win.

Hatton would've whooped Casamayor's and Diaz's asses on the same night.

sorry double post... my connection has been acting up quite a bit

  15. There's nothing stupid about this thread. If you think that something wasn't wrong with Oscar when he faced Pacquiao then something is wrong with you. Hatton is a horrible boxer and David Diaz is a straight bum. Juan Diaz might not punch the hardest but he sure can fight. Casamayor is an excellent boxer. EXCELLENT. You can't compare their opposition.
Many boxing fans feel that Marquez won at least one of his fights against Pacquiao. I think that Pacquiao owes boxing fans a rematch with Marquez. How can you be the pound for pound best boxer in the world with that looming over you? When some experts felt that Castillo beat Mayweather, Mayweather gave him an immediate rematch. That's what it takes to be the best.
I understand that the fights with Marquez were hard for Pacquiao, but a third fight needs to take place before Marquez's age catches up. I'd give a kidney to see that fight...
