In terms of action-wise, name some fighters who were more exciting past-prime than in their prime

Muhammad Ali and Marvin Hagler had their most exciting fights when they were past their best.

Although Ali did have some exciting fights after his prime i felt he was quite a boring boxer after his prime.

This is true, when I said Evander I was thinking of actual fights rather than performance.

I thought Ali was pretty boring in his first title reign also, with the exception of the Williams fight.

Yeh Evander was in some wars when past his prime

I thought Ali held too much and disrupted the rythem of the bout too much when past his prime, when he was younger everything was smooth.

Duran gave exciting fights past his prime (but I wouldn't say "more" exciting fights than in his prime (?)). The Barkley fight is one of his best victories.

I would've suspected that Braddock was more exciting earlier in his career, when he was scoring a lot of knockouts; rather than later on when he was more of a technical boxer.

The Griffin-Farr run was his own version of 90's Foreman.

Vulnerable himself, now a two-handed fighter, in a half dozen close, grueling fights featuring plenty of knockdowns (including one of Louis)...I'd say he was pretty exciting at this stage.

Prince Naseem! He started slipping around 97-98 or maybe it was a step up in competition. Either way his fights got more exciting when his opponents were able to tag him and drop him. Too bad he never got KO:ed.

    God, I hated him!
