Those were 10oz and Reyes have begun to make different gloves. I believe they now use a foam in their gloves like Winning and Grant. They used to use horsehair like Everlast. Loads of them are changing now to protect the hands.

Smaller gloves and make the boxer punch correctly. Watch how in big gloves boxer aren't closing their fist or stabilising their wrists so their hands are continously going into wrong positions.

:goodI didn't know they'd changed.I knew they used to be made of horsehair which apparently became more compact upon impact

Yep. Another reason why Resto's team found it so easy to take the padding (horsehair) out of his gloves as well:good.

Yeah there's a 'review' of it on Boxpicks that you should check out;):good. That said, as Dan has pointed out, HBO knocked this documentary out quickly- there is a feature length documentary of it that has been in the pipeline for a while due out soon as well.

Yep losfer is correct. it's actuall a film, called.... **** I can't remember, erm.....oh yeah i can "Cornered - they Came to Fight".

Cleto Reyes gloves have been altered as stated on here earlier. The New Gloves are called 'Cleto Reyes - Safetec' They aren't as good for the puncher unfortunately.

And Rob, Calzaghe didn't wear Reyes for his last to fights. For them both he wore Grant - Green with red thums if i'm correct. In fact the last time I remember him wearing reyes was the yellow ones he wore against Eubank

Wore them against Kessler as well. I remember him thanking Grant for sending them out to him in the post-fight interview. I remembered as it's an odd thing to mention in an interview.

Everlast - the puncher's gloves. Used to be Reyes, but they've been made worse, whereas Everlast have been made better!

Everlasts or Cleto Reyes (8 oz)

Grants looks like freakin' pillows. Ugly gloves.

    BBE's are horrible.

I've got a pair of 10oz sparring mitts and almost broke both my hands just working on a heavy bag.
