... but when campbell gets headbutted, he complains to the ref after a minute.

campbell just doesnt have the heart of guys like diaz, cotto, pacquiao, or roy jones.

im very disappointed in him. he quit plain and simple.

Campbell was trying to be smart and it backfired. you guys have to understand that a young gun like Diaz can lose and live to fight another day but if Campbell loses to Bradley his career is done for. He will never get another decent payday, ever.

So when you're in a situation like that and you have a choice between fighting 10 out of 12 rounds with blood pouring into your eye or having the fight declared a NC and fighting a rematch at 100%, the choice is obvious

Think with your heads, not with your hearts. Campbell has a ton of heart just from challenging these young guns like Diaz and Bradley when he is pushing 40 years old so show some respect.

at the end of the day it boils down to show some ****ing respect. Nate Campbell is a warrior

And Diaz lost that fight. I don't give boxers respect for continuing to get their ass kicked, I give em respect for winning.

whether he is a warrior or not, 37 or 100, a superstar or a no-draw it's all irrelevant...the fact is, he was looking for a way out

did he work hard? yeah i'm sure he did

did he catch any easy brakes in his career? nope probably not

but this and that are 2 different matters....i saw Cotto catch a ridiculous sized gash from a headbutt and fight through the cut for 9 rounds and walk away with a victory against a very good seasoned fighter in Clottey

now sure, Campbell ain't as young as Cotto, and Bradley and Clottey are 2 different types of fighters, but you see where i'm getting at.....one fighter looked for an exit, and the other fighter looked for a way to win...and the same goes with Diaz even though he ended up losing, he still looked for a way to win

now you can say you excuse it giving his position in boxing and the circumstances, buts thats different then making excuses..."he's old", "he's pushing 40", "nobody wants to fight him",...those are all excuses, he knew that when he signed the contract, and he knew that when he stepped in the ring but he still accepted the money and the fight right? so don't try and use that as an excuse now

but yeah, do i think he deserves a rematch? yep, sure i do...because Campbell's a worldclass operator and anything could of happened had that headbutt not of occurred, but it don't change the fact that he quit the fight no matter how you try and sugar coat it

now don't get me wrong, i ain't saying i'm no Marciano and would do this and that in that situation, and i'm not saying that Campbells any type of ***** for quitting, because most people would of done it, hell...most fighters would have done it, all i'm doing is keeping it real, i call it how i saw it, and thats the way it is

Campbell quit when there was a huge risk of the fight not being declared an NC. Even his own trainer attempted to talk some sense into him because he was aware that it WAS NOT declared a headbutt, and he was aware how absolutely ridiculous Campbell's behaviour was.

Campbell didn't show any confidence in himself, or heart, and he made a decision that was totally stupid. Nothing respectable about it. Not to say you can judge his career on this fight, but this instance was a major ****up on Campbell's part, terrible decision making in the heat of the moment.

Campbell is Campbell, Diaz is Diaz two completely different fighters and the extent of dammage on their faces as a result of the headbutts is different too . . . so no comparison.
