Goosen is going to back out. That's obvious. However, it would be great fun to watch Pav get rid of Green. You should try to get ahold of Jack and inform him of your secret Allan Green fight plan. Hell, they might let you man the magic marker:yep

The guy drawing more fans should get the most money. Add that Kelly is the champion, which in all of boxing history has been the position of negotiating strength, and that Paul spends alot of time saying he's being ducked, Kelly deserves 60-70%. Paul needs to step up, because its his mouth moving. Kelly is the champ, and 90% of that arena will be there to see him.

I think Arum would concede to 60-40, which Paul, if he is the warrior I think he is, will take. He should. Its either ducking or an inflated sense of self worth if he doesnt.

Fighters lose all the time. Pavlik did. Atlantic city, and Youngstown Ohio, last I checked, dont care.

aren't the people attempting to defend pw the same ones who criticized margarito for not taking his biggest payday when it was offered by williams. pw brings nothing to the gate, and is being offered his best payday, and a chance to establish himself as a mw. the money will come later if he wins and EARNS the right to call the shopts.

PW has has the opportunity to fight for the MW championship and its not happening because his camp wants more money?????

Bottom line----- If that was true, just think of the money he could demand if he does in fact beat pavlik. The sky would be the limit. He would be catapulted into superstardom.

    Its all B.S.

Goosen and Willimas dont want any part of pavlik.

You make a valid point & I can't see why Williams & Goosen are not thinking the same. Maybe you should give Goosen a call, put him straight! :yep

However, I feel Williams would beat Pavlik quite comprehensively! Williams is taller than Pavlik, has a longer reach, is a southpaw, appears to be improving as a fighter & hit hard!

I hope this one happens, because if Williams beats Pavlik that would be some achievement. However, a win for Paul would not do much for the list of guys willing to face him. In fact, the list would probably get shorter!

You don't know shite, and the fight never came off, and Pav has Arum as his promoter. One snap of the finger from Arum, and this fight is made.

Of course if ANY fight related to Pavlik doesn't happen then it's 100% the other guy's fault, there's no way in hell Pavlik or his team can be mistaken. Someone here needs to take Pavlik's dick out of his mouth and wake the **** up already.

Williams is wrong, Calzaghe is wrong, Abraham is wrong, Sturm is wrong, Goossen is wrong but Pavlik, Leow and Arum are right. Sure.

Don't exaggerate please. The only reason Pavlik is considering Williams is because he doesn't have enough to consider, the division is clearly lacking enough good opponents.

Fans want Paul to be paid what he is worth. He is the naturally smaller guy coming in, a ww champion, and a guy who has fought a pfp guy while Pav has fought 2. Second, PW does not need Pav. He has other options. In order for this fight to be made, don't over pay Pav, and under pay PW...period! That is how Goosen sees it. This is a far more dangerous fight for PW than it is for Pav.

Really... Look at his avatar and ask yourself... Whose belts are those that he's holding???? :patsch

Then try and do some research/ homework about their mandatories and the timeframes around those mandatories. You are only making yourself out to be ignorant and nothing but a hater.

I thought you guys didn't care about titles and mandatories when it comes to making a big fight lol... You have no idea how big potentially this fight could be(PW-Pav), and making a deal with PAv receiving the whole gate would be financial suicide for PW.

Why is it that everytime we discuss Pav, everyone else is wrong except Pav, Loew or Arum? Do you think we're all @#!$@! stupid???

Since the day Kelly turned pro, he has publically stated he wants to unify the titles in the MW division.

Top Rank and HBO had a list of (4) fighters that they felt should be Kell'y next opponent. He trumped them and said he wanted PW, even after last years failed negotiations. So, he is obviously aware of how "big" this fight is.
How is it financial suicide?? PW will be making his biggest payday ever. Plus, he does not deserve 50% of the gate when 90% of the gate will be Kelly's fans. Plus, IF and that's a BIG IF, PW wins, he only sets himself up for bigger paydays.

If Kelly didn't face Lockett, he gets stripped of the WBO title.
If Kelly didn't face Rubio, he gets stripped of the WBC title.
If AA didn't face Marquez and Oral, he gets stripped of the IBF title. That mandatory fight was November 8, 2008.
    Kelly's fight with B-Hop was October 18, 2008.

AA then went on to fight Simon in March 2009 which conflicted with the Rubio fight, and Oral (mandatory) in June 2009.

Team Saunderland then said they would wait until January 2010 for Kelly.

AA moves up to SMW to fight in the tourney.

All fighters don't split the gate 50-50, but all fighters don't give up 100% of the gate either. Lockett, Rubio, Marquez and Oral should not have stopped AA-Pav from happening. Step aside money, talks with the organizations, etc...whatever it takes to make the ONLY mw title unification fight should've happened. I really don't blame Pav, and I talk more to his lying ass fans about Pav because they lie about AA not wanting a fight with Pav. I don't blame Pav, and i like Pav. Tell you what, you put Booradley, Hermit and a few others on ignore, and I'll do the same, and then we can talk about these two fine fighters and their sorry promoters. Just kidding lol...
