Whether it was a NC or TKO. A rematch is in order. Nate made the right choice for his career and life. He could very easily of loss vision for the rest of his life had he fought on.
Yes. No damage was done to eye he just suffered a hemorrage atsch If he would of fought on, he very likely would of loss all vision for the rest of his life.
http://www.theeyecenter.com/educational/51c.htm Treatment Initial treatment may be observation alone. Minor hemorrhages often clot and resolve on their own over time. Unfortunately, it may take months for full visual recovery from a vitreous hemorrhage. Current research has produced drugs that can dissolve the vitreous gel inside the eye and may dramatically reduce the recovery time. These drugs are currently in the investigational stage and are awaiting FDA approval. For more severe and debilitating vitreous hemorrhage, a vitrectomy may be performed. A vitrectomy is a surgical procedure that removes the vitreous gel and the blood from inside the eye. After the vitreous is removed, the surgeon will refill the eye with a special saline solution that closely resembles the natural vitreous fluid in the eye. [Recovery from the procedure will take up to 6 weeks and complete vision recovery will take a little longer. :huh
Dude what's your issue? You want fighters to risk their vision? I know that fighters risk their life in the ring but there's a point where its too much. Suffering from pain and discomfort and quiting is one thing. Knowing that you can go blind for the rest of your life is the time to quit the fight.
Campbell was right, and the referee was wrong. Very simple. Nobody here on ESB could have assessed the damage that was done to his eye, only Campbell could have and the doctors there. fight should have been a No Decision or a rematch should be in order.
Can you imagine if roles were reversed, and it was Bradley who had quit? It would be like the Guzman weigh-in all over again, and we'd hear about yet another injustice to the world of Nate Campbell.
Campbell took a big hit with the way he acted in his last fight. Technically, he is correct. A no contest is in order. However, I think a vast number of his fans will no longer support him. He talks the talk and walks it retartedly.
LMAO!.. You sound like Nate Campbell up in here with all this fake MELODRAMA. :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
Theres an issue. We all know the head butt is the reason, but there's no true proof that his eye was messed up because of it..
