Joshua Clottey tells Mosley to stop running.

I admire clottey's abilities but he had his chance against cotto and blew it. He's got no right to chase after shane at this point in time

I'm all for a Clottey/Mosley fight but Clottey should settle down and stop issuing rude statements. As if Mosley was obliged to fight him since long long time ago and Mosley refused.

The fact that is he was just installed at the #1 challenger only few days ago. And he has just lost in a title fight against Cotto just weeks ago.

This is not the time for Clottey to act arrogant.

 

It doesnt matter, they both have similiar styles that would frustrate the hell out of Mosley, and Wright completely dominated with not much effort. Also Mosley is far declined from the one that fought Wright.

Hes going to counter Clottey to death just like he did to Margo?
He has the power to corner Clottey and beat him up like Cotto did?

Clottey is a turd. He is lazy in the ring and if he thinks he can beat Mosley and Paul Williams (called him a "weak welterweight") by laying on the ropes and taking shots he's nuts.:nut

 

Wright was significantly bigger than Mosley. Clottey isn't.

Wright had better defence and was more difficult to cope with cause he was a southpaw. Clottey isn't.

Wright had one of the best jabs I've seen. Clottey doesn't.

Clottey has been knocked down by a jab. Wright hasn't.

Plus, Clottey traditionally ****s up in big fights for whatever reason (with the exception of his fight with Judah-an even bigger **** up). There's no indication he'll magically have his best night and beat Mosley.

 

Mosley is a far bigger puncher than Cotto, what are you playing at? Any comparison to Wright is nothing short of ignorant and ridiculous. Clottey is very overrated defensively, he is terribly stationary and does not control range with a jab. Just because he has a high guard doesn't mean he is as good as a prime Winky Wright, Clottey makes a number of major defensive mistakes like closing the distance by simply walking towards his opponent upright, with a high guard, throwing no punches whatsoever, and leaning in when he is lazy.

Good fight. One of the best to be made at welter. And probably a fairly easy win for Shane. Mosley will beat him to the punch all night and just outwork him. Shane can possibly get a late stoppage if Clottey slows too much. Definitely keep busy Shane.
