James Toney vs Mickael Nunn, the arrival of JT man, what a good fight and what a tough one for a homecoming for Nunn, he was undefeated in about 37 fights and so was Toney. the surprising thing for me having not watched this fight for ages is how dominant nunn was in the early rounds, he basically outboxed toney til about the middle rounds. It all changed in about the eighth when toney took over and his shoulder roll came into effect, Nunn by this point was well ahead on the cards was so confident and cocky he was starting to clown toney by doing what Ali used to do and rubbing his glove on the top of Toney's head and face as he came forward. From the eighth round Tony couldn't miss with the right as he let nunn lead, slipped and countered in cutomary JT fashion, from this point nunn was confused and toney started imposing himself on the fight even more until in the 11th when Nunn gets countered i think after throwing an uppercut with a perfect left hook and its goodnight Mr Nunn he got to his feet but had nothing left and Toney stepped in to finish with a combination and then the towel was thrown in.
Azumah Nelson vs Pat Cowdell Stunning punch from Nelson. I advise everyone to watch, mainly because it is less than a round long.
DLH v Whitaker as not seen it before. Sweet Pea was a huge talent and almost impossible to fight and rounds very hard to split.
just re watched vitali klitschko vs Danny willaims . Willaims was gone by the 4th and god knows what kept him up till the 8th that fight took all williams had left in he's boxing career and never really was the same after that .
Even more impressive seeing as that was a prime Oscar and Whitaker was well past his prime in that fight.
