Meldrick Taylor pre-Chavez vs current Pac at 140. Thoughts? Both excellent speed. Technically Taylor is superior but has a good but leaky defense and loves to mix it up. He throws beautiful combos and moves around the ring great.
Pac's power is undeniable and has the best footwork today not to mention great stamina. But has shown some problems with boxers.

You know both guys mentality and it would be a real scrap. Who prevails.

That's a really tough call, but I think I would go with Pac, by close decision or possibly late round stoppage.

Hmmm...my initial instinct was to go with Taylor. But I'm starting to think the more you go in there and think you can bully Pac (ala DLH, MAB, Hatton) the easier he finds it to come in and out with big shots.

Taylor would be physically stronger no doubt..but Pac can ge elusive to come forward fighters.

Taylor by late stoppage, too much speed; Pac's footwork is no comparison for Calderon's, Hopkins', or Mayweather's AT ALL.

Chavez is a much better fighter defensively and offensively than Pac.
Chavez has a much, much better chin.

So based on that, I'd go with Taylor any way.

Taylor in a close UD while taking a lot of punishment, like the first Morales fight.

    I think Manny whips Chavez.
