    I have seen Gerry Cooney win the middleweight title and get get stopped as a light heavy by Johnny Davis

    Larry Holmes got Ko'd 2 times in the finals of the Nationals by 5"10 southpaw bomber Nick Wells and dropped and Dq'd for holding by Duane Bobick

    Duane Bobick got coldcocked by Teofilo Stevenson

    John Tate got KO'd By Teofilo Stevenson

    Vito Antufermo( middleweight Champ) lost a dec to Eddie Gregery ( Mustufa Muhamad) Light heavy Champ

    I saw Holyfield lose at lightheavy to an American ( that later got killed ) forgot his name)

    Wilfredo Gomez got ko'd in 1 round and it was a big upset at the time. Julian Jackson got stopped by Bramble in another upset.

    I've tried to trace who Marv lost to as an amateur mate (3 defeats is usually bandied about). The only definite 'L' i've discovered is Wilbur Seales, Sugar Ray's brother.

    Savon knocked out Brewster, Tua and many other american heavyweights.
    Chris Byrd was stopped by Joe Calzaghe in 3 rounds.

    That it, Thanks, but Evander avenged the loss or they split a few,,,Womack looked like he was the goods but I saw a star in Evander, I dont know why but he reminded me of Charles at the lower weights

    I am not sure, I saw Nick fight a few times and he was powerfully built but looked about 5"10 and I read somewhere he was 5"10 but you know how the press is, if you are 5"11 they make you 5"9 and if you are 6"6 they make you 6"9

    I dont know if this is acurate but the Height thing is messed up. I was watching Angelo Dundee the other day on a show and he said Ali was 6"2 even but he had him fight tall, I always thought Ali was 6"3. Foreman was 6"2 1/2 but was listed at 6"4...James Toney is 5"9 to"10....Wells was stocky and quite a puncher, too bad he did not get the right people behind him ( trainers and Manager
