he made it some good money in Cotto and Mosley fights, just retire, you have taken lots of punishment. why do it again? just to make little money. Margarito never gona be big fight again. this guy had nothing to gain if he comes back.
are you saying you wouldnt pay to watch cotto/margo II?? or are you saying that you would pay for cotto/margo II but that it wouldnt be a big fight??
He hasn't even taken that much punishment. Cotto's shots for the most part bounced harmlessly off his head. Mosley is the only fight in recent memory where he really took a beating. Most of his fights really just involve his opponent covering up while he unleads with about 1,000 shots.

There's money to be made, Margo-Cotto 2 Margo-Berto Margo-Clottey 2 etc.. These guys give their live's to this sport they put in blood, sweat and tears to make it as far as they can in the sport, Boxing is their life and lively-hood.
He took some real shots in that Cotto fight. His head was bouncing around like a speed ball. Also though out his career he has ahd a face first style from his early days in Mexico to the rodney Jones loss he has taken Punishment... he just seems like he is built to take it.
Margarito is all wrong for Cotto, IMHO. That said, the best thing that could happen to Margarito is for Cotto to beat Pacquiao....
I'll say this once again, his fight with Cotto took a lot from him. Many mention Cotto when this fight is mention, but Margarito took some heavy blows as well and perhaps would never be the same again. It show on his fight with Mosley, his reflex and himself as a fighter are becoming slower in the ring.
