I left out Vazquez on a point of principle having not fought for 18 months..... Dawson doesn't greatly impress me (for some reason).

Pavlik is ordinary.... Froch hasn't beaten enough quality guys....

    And so on.

Hasegawa is probably a little high on reflection, but anyways....

Very good wins at super fly. He didn't have to move up to bantam but wanted the challenge and at least he was willing to stick it on the line by moving up. I completely commend him for that, TBH.

Losfer nailed it also he wasreagrded a top man at Fly and Super Fly and has done alot. Donaire has done hardly anything since beating Vic so cant be ranked over him.

I have probably got Williams a little too high actually.

Wins over Margarito, Quintana, Phillips and Wright is a solid enough resume put hardly top #5 worthy.

I'm probably anticipating him Lacy'ing Pavlik - can't wait for that. Overrated slugger getting exposed.

    Again.

    That was part of it.

Margo went on to waste Cintron (again) and beat Cotto...... Quintana was the avenging of a loss, Phillips was backing up from beating Spinks, and Wright was formerly a P4P'er, albeit faded.

Margo beat Cintron (look at what Cintrons done since and tahts impressive) and Cotto (again look at what Cottos done since). Quintana aint done much and has been kicked out of the Welterweight picture which could be a positive when ranking Williams.

Phillips had just beat Spinks and was regarded a top 154lber and was dominated by Williams.

Winky win dosent do much for me just it was at MW.

    Hmmm.....

Cintron was KTFO by Martinez really then outpointed

Cotto has only beaten Jennings since then.....

Phillips I agree with your views.... tough guy hardly ever gets stopped.

Quintana is a bit of a 'who needs him' kinda guy. Natural counter puncher with a half decent dig and awkward style..... who beat Williams easy really in the first fight.

I don't see him being able to get sufficient oppo in the future.

Cintron beat that highly touted opponent Angulo since then, plus Cotto beat Clottey.
