Just completed watching Ali-Norton trilogy, and I can say that on my card, Ken Norton beat Ali three times. While researching, I read that the third fight was #5 most disputed decision in history. Do you know how that list looked like?

You could also post your personal top 10 or 5 most disputed decisions in boxing history.

    Here are some of mine:

    Holmes - Spinks II
    Lewis - Holyfield I
    Ali - Norton II
    De La Hoya - Trinidad
    De La Hoya - Sturm
    Golota - Ruiz
    Golota - Byrd
    Valuev - Holyfield

I don't know if these make top 5, but they aren't bad picks

    1. Leonard - Hearns II
    2. Chavez - Whitaker
    3. Walcott - Louis I
    4. Coetzee - Snipes
    5. Whitaker - Ramirez

The 3rd fight is such a bad verdict that even Harry Carpenter went beserk.

    Great shout.

I'm a little disturbed by the number of people making the Louis-Walcott I pick. There are only highlights of that pic and supposedly one third of ringside reporters gave it to Louis - as well as two thirds of the judges.

    De La Hoya v Sturm
Park-Si-Hun v Roy Jones at the Olympics
    Holyfield v Lewis (1)

These stick out in my mind.

"A ringside poll of 32 boxing writers had 21 scoring the bout for Walcott, 10 scoring it for Louis and 1 scoring it a draw."

I think that "Sorry Joe..." line from Louis tells it all...

Not a robbery, I think you can make a decent case for either fighter. I tell you what's also not a robbery but the Cubans think it was - Gavilan-Robinson (I).

Well that's a third (for all intents and purposes).

    And 2/3 judges.

And nobody here has seen it.

It might be one of the most disputed results in boxnig history because it's high profile.
