I'm not sure that I agree it's quite as healthy as he claims, either, but it's definitely in a transition of sorts and he did make some very good points. :smoke
great interview. Manny is a blast to hang out with. He has some GREAT stories from years past. I always look forward to seeing him at Wlads training camp. Always professional and fun to be around. Class act!!
It was a great interview. As I already told Rummy... it's honestly the best interview that I have ever seen anyone conduct with Steward. I think that Rummy has found his calling.:good
man that is really a great interview, really a great trainer... and really nice stories about the past.. man it just amazes me when he said that chavez was self trained-real warrior, and i liked him comparing lewis and wlad. and totally agree with him about the pac cotto asesment.. its really a toss up
Good stuff. I've always liked Manny Steward. Good guy, and knows his ****, regardless of what you think of him as a trainer. He's a true boxing brain.
He really turned my head upside down when he talked about boxing in today's world. I mean, I felt it was doing alright but he put a completely different logic to it that opened up my thinking. And damn he loves to expand on a topic... which is great!
