Morales-Barrera I is the best fight Ive seen narrowly ahead/alongside Chacon-Boza Edwards II so it stands to reason that I voted it FOTD... FOTC would be a better description IMHO.

Ps. Good call by the judges, not falling for Barrera attacking in bursts, the man that threw more AND LANDED MORE gets the nod ;)... great fight.

Yeah, I was considering this myself. Certainly a great fight.

I felt Barrera kept hurting Morales so consistently he made him his girlfriend. He should have been given the nod.

Post-fight interview. Erik Morales: "I'll be completely honest, he hurt me many times where I felt I was about to go"

Gatti-WARD 3 was the one where Arturo had to box with one hand. Least exciting fight of the trilogy.

    Barrera vs Morales 1.

Two A class ATG quality fighters throwing skills out the window from time to time and going toe to toe. These guys LOVED to fight each other and display their skills against one another.

No offense to Gatti or Ward but those guys weren't A class fighters and not close. Ward is a journeyman at best.

Vasquez/Marquez comes close after Morales/Barrera, two A class fighters there too.

I know this fight might fly under the radar but the finale of the Contender should get an honorable mention...Bika vs Cordrington...The fight was a very solid fight with back and forth action...Both fighters showed heart and will to win.

Fact - he didnt`go`anywhere & kept retaliating but at least he`s honest & gave Barrera credit, Barrera is a terribly sore loser that wouldnt admit the truth unless things `went his way`........... but this is gonna end up another circle so **** it.

I agree!! This was by far the best live fight that I have ever been to. I have personally never seen a better fight than Tito/Vargas. And it was crazy being in the stands watching it!!

Morales was terribly humble after their rubber match wasn't he? Throwing water at Marco's father. Very nice, Erik.
