Either By A Wide Decision (4 + rounds) or By T/Ko... He really wont have anywhere higher to go after that... any matchup's @ 147 will be viewed as a massacre, they all pretty much are now... same pretty much @ 154 only legit comp there (as far as we know) is sergie dzindurik.... if paul beats pavlik there is literally nobody around at 160 worth a damn....

what are the odds floyd takes paul on some where between 147-160?

We all know the rumors of floyd sparring with guys all the way up to super middleweight... floyd could do it for paul's newly acquired belt @ 160 (off pavlik) or that one belt paul got at 154 (would be kind of worthless... but play along)....

Anyways... What do you guys think?

It will never happen. Floyd knows he'll get his ass beat badly by Williams and Hayman who is advisor of both Williams and Mayweather won't let these 2 fight each other.

    Fo get about it.

Williams isn't gonna beat Kelly. He'll be lucky to be still standing after 12 rounds.

I don't know. A just decent fighter in Quintana managed to counter the **** out of Paul in their first fight, I don't see why a great fighter like Mayweather couldn't do the same to Williams.

But I don't believe Mayweather will ever take that fight (it would be a risky fight and a difficult match up).

just throwing it out there... its an interesting idea

it would be floyd's 6th attempt to win in a 6th different division... putting him next to odlh & pacman.... it would be truly historic to if floyd could beat paul @ 160.. esp after paul beating pavlik handidly... i think it would get floyd a lot of credit

    you sure ?

Quintana is a south paw, a bit taller then Mayweather with a longer reach then Mayweather i believe.

(aside from the fact that you know who i think is gonna win pav/pw...i'll play along objectively :D)

it would depend on how pw won. if he tko/ko'd pav (giggle) then i think that would ensure that pbf wouldnt touch a williams fight at any weight. if pwilly won on points but also showed vulnerabilities then i think he may consider it.

sad to say but no chance pw isn't a welter weight really and the fight won't pay pbf enough to comply for that type of risk floyd always gets slammed for not fighting pw but what about pac than? mosley? cotto? I would love to see this fight im a big fan of both but pw doesn't seem natural at 147 imo maybe 154-160 and pbf is small for a welter which people don't mention maybe better at around 140 than again that's just my opinion....... here's a thought williams vs jermaine taylor 160-163 somewhere

I honestly woould like to see Mayweather Vs Williams but i believe Williams would easily beat Mayweather. Man i will love to see those 2 standing next to each other to see the height difference.

be realistic man u speak as if pw is a bum or just doesn't stand a chance pavlik can be beat as we all saw pw isn't hopkins but he's a really good fighter should be a good fight if it happens

I think the first quintana fight was a fluke but regardless....it would definitely put floyd even deeper into the history books... if i was in paul's camp i would definitely introduce this concept

**** does pw being a welter have to do with anything? you obviously didnt read what i was saying....

floyd vs paul @ 160 after (hypothetically) paul beats pavlik handidly (4+ rounds or t/ko)

this would make floyd's 6th potential weight class he has won a belt in and would forever imortalize him in the history books (specifically because of the way paul handled pavlik)

If Paul managed to beat the man at 160?

Floyd would much rather fight Miguel Cotto, Antonio Margarito, Kermit Cintron and Shane Mosley at the same time with Manny Pacquaio as special referee than take on Paul Williams.

South paw he is. He's also 1,5 inch taller and has the exact same reach as Mayweather. Apart from the stance, skillwise Mayweather is worlds apart with Quintana. Do you think the only reason Quintana managed to counter Paul with such success is a result of his stance alone?
