    :yep:yep:yep

I remember seeing him leaving the ring after the Lewis fight, with his eye looking like a menstruating vagina - he was wearing the WBA "Heavyweight EVENT Champion of the World" belt. I hope it was some comfort to him, bless his delicate soul.

Rocky: Yo Adrian, I did it. I won the event.
Adrian: I am going home with Apollo. I'll leave Paulie at your house.

Yes they are, but the simple fact is that prime VITLAY fought a very poor version of Lewis, and still lost. Lewis is in the top 5 ATG heavies admittedly but that's based on his prime performances. I'm sure VITLAY could beat a 1976 Ali or a 2004 Mike Tyson etc etc but seeing as both those guys in their prime were awesome and blew away the older champs (as young fighters are supposed to do) All VITLAY did was lose to the ageing champ, and that doesn't bode well for his legacy, much like WALDOS unavenged losses in his prime years and numerous defences against defenceless bums.

Arreola's best chance is to go after him at the opening bell. I think he could pull it off if he can land some bombs in the first round kind of like Sanders did. But if he can't take him out of there early in the fight, he is going to be in trouble by the time it gets to the mid to late rounds.

Ok..but I thought he fought carelessly against Lennox. He's a big puncher, but also can be cut easily.
He's coasted through alot of fights because he hasn't been tested.
I don't think he should have traded with Lennox.. he landed big, but his skin can't take the same punch that Lennox can.
    My point:
If he fights Tyson, Foreman,Lewis: to box..I think all these guys break his skin if he tries to punch them out..
if he boxes ala Ali and Tunney, he's atg.:deal

    That's actually a pretty good comparison :D

Only difference is no way would Lewis have stolen VITLAYS lover, I can't imagine Lewis would find WALDO in the least bit sexy.

He fought carelessly against Lewis? How?

Please elaborate on that because I thought VITLAY only got reckless in that fight AFTER he was cut, desperate times call for desperate measures and all that - he threw everything but the kitchen sink at Lewis and was slowly being taken to deep waters and was about to be drowned when the doctor did him a favour. VITLAY won a close first round which could have been given either way as I remember it, clearly won the 2nd round and after that the fight was even, it was hardly the one-sided affair the Klit-ites have it down as. If it was, then how the hell do you explain the state of VITLAYS grill at the end :huh

He can be a boxer first..forget about the power.

The cut that happened was because Vit was too aggresive against an austure and powerful fighter.
I think Vital should have switched gears.. stop the power punching and start boxing ala...., Ali. style.
I think he could have coasted to a decision.
    Your take?

This fight will look like the Danny Williams fight.

The problem with doing "could haves" is that you could do that for almost every HW fight in history....it's not what you could have done, it's what you actually did that makes you a champion or an also-ran. I'm sure VITLAY "could have" tried to just box his way to a UD but Lewis would have had other ideas on that score, Lewis never lost a UD in his career.

I'm sure Trevor Berbick "could have" taken Tyson to the later rounds if he'd treated him as a serious opponent instead of an impudent kid...he got it wrong and everyone now remembers him as the guy that got bounced around the ring because he chose to slug with a slugger. I could go on, but it's pointless. VITLAY had his chance against the ageing champ and blew it whereas many others that were better than VITLAY didn't blow it.

:yep Right on man, these guys have been trying to put both Klits in the same class as Lewis, thats just not case ANY version of Lewis could beat Any version of Vitali, Lewis was 38, inactive and showed up at a career high 256+ lbs and Vitali still couldn't win. Imagine if Tyson lost to Holmes, or if Holy lost to Foreman, or Marciano losing to Louis, or how about Holmes losing to Ali, thats basicly what Vitali did.

My take is that Vitali is clearly inferior to Lewis, if they were in the same class he would have easily beaten him, seeing as Lewis was old, inactive and just not in shape at all. The fight was very close, I had Vitali winning 3 rds, 1 rd even with 2 to Lewis, with another 6 rds to go he was in no position to coast.

Vitali is 38 just like Lewis was and he is not making any excuses he is trying to make the biggest fights he can. Not one fighter in the World today would beat Vitali Klitschko. You and some others just need to accept that and move on.

Why can't you just accept that Lennox is an ATG and that Vitali is a very good fighter? It is possible to like both guys you know.
