I thought for sure Barrera was gonna destroy Pac, MAB was #3 P4P and Pac was moving up in weight to fight him. MAB is one of my favorite but I make no excuses, he clearly got his ass handed to him by a smaller fighter in Pac.

Any ******* can make any fighter's resume look bad to people that don't know better. At some point you have to see beyond the excuses and realize there is a great fighter that we are witnessing in the present.:yep

pac has to defeat valuev and the klitschos first.

seriously, i think this is more a case of envy. pac was the little mosquito from the pacific which came over the USA and started defeating their idols.

it is natural of course to feel resentment towards the man but people should give credit where it is due.

some fans should stop acting like bitches and whiney girls in here.

Even I conceded, back in November 2003, that MP was gonna lose and gonna get his ass kicked by the great Barrera.

I was just hoping that maybe MP would finish the whole 12 rounds, still standing, or at least break MAB's nose or hurts him at least once before he gets KO'd.

the ts must be JEFF M's new alias.

the stupid arguments are the same, and he has the same habit of saying "see nobody's debunked my arguments" even though there's like 50 pages of showing his arguments are those of a complete dimwit.

Dont get me wrong homie, am Mexican but just dont know why i cant hate on him he's a great fighter and i enjoy watching him fight, let me tell you something belive me or not a lot of Mexicans here love Pacquiao and have no hate on him, **** they hate DLH more than anything else to be honest.

  8. When he beat Barrera, Barrera was still in his prime. I think the beating that Pacquiao gave Barrera affected him. It affected him mentally more than it did physically. 4 years after the fight with Pacquiao, Barrera fought Juan Manuel Marquez and looked great. His speed, reflexes and skills were all still there. One loss or one poor performance does not make you a shot fighter. If that were true, most of the guys who box on this forum would already be shot because let's face it, you suck at boxing.
Morales on the other hand, had shown signs of deterioration before his second fight with Pacquiao.
To make a long story short, Pacquiao's best wins are over Barrera and Marquez. Those two victories alone make him an extraordinary boxer. There's no denying his greatness.

I have picked against Pac in most of his big fights, but he never fails to amaze me..... I have eaten more crow on Pac's account than any other fighter in my life. One year ago I was laughing at the thought of Pac vs. Cotto, but now I am leaning towards Pac to win a great entertaining fight.

i know you are mexican man. its pretty obvious.

and the only other fighter I idolize is erik morales.
I actually thought that mexicans don't hate pac too much. winning in the ring will win you fans, whether fans of opponents or neutral fans.

diaz, larios and even erik morales were treated with respect by pac, whether he lost or not.

mab though is a different matter. the guy hit pac twice during a clinch in their second fight. JMM is a class counterpuncher although he stayed in the fringes far too long compared to em and mab.

Its not about not giving him credit, its about giving him too much credit. As I stated Pac is without a doubt one of the top fighters of his era, but he isnt on the level of the fighters that his sackswingers are tring to sell....

As far as the weight thing goes, it is also abit misleading Pac turned pro at 16, at 16 just think about what some of the other elite fighters were in terms of weight??? Floyd Mayweather at age 16 was a 106 fighter, he has won titles up to 154. Had Floyd turned pro at 16 if legal here he could have beatten every fighter that Pac fought. The weight thing is vastly overstated being that Pac was a kid and hadnt even begone to fill out at the time that he turned pro..Which is the reason that he went up in weight so fast, and why he seemed to get stronger as he did it..It was because he was getting stronger. Its not to take any thing away from Pac, what Im getting at is people make it seem as if Pac was moving up to take on bigger threats when the truth he is moved up because he couldnt make the lower weights. anyone can look at Pac in his fight with Hatton and see that pac looked great, the best his body has ever looked in a fight...Why???? Because it was more natural, by allowing his body to be more natural it allowed the muscle mass to be were it should.

MAB had many pre-fight problems (wife divorce, manager problems, switching promoters, wildfires in his big bear training camp and had to re-locate camps to San Diego), and by the time he stepped in the ring with Pac, MAB's stamina was depleted and was only about 70% conditioned.

    MAB was beatable that night.
anyone in the top 20 couldve beaten MAB that night.

Heck, Morales could've beaten MAB with only one arm, and the other arm tied behind his(Morales') back.
