    Good posts, people.

    I thought of it as a war when it happened, but after the allegations about Margo, I don't even want to think about that fight, let alone watch it. And to think that I had respect for Margarito... :verysad

    Of course it isn't true. If it was true, there'd be proof scattered all over the shop, least of which would have been evidenced by that poster himself.

    There's been NUMEROUS occasions where people have posted videos of Capetillo asking him or better yet - TELLING Margarito that his punches should be solid by now. Let me look around to see if I can find them.

    definitely a classic. but in light of the allegations that have surfaced this year, question marks (baseless or not) regarding the fight have been raised.

    last year, i thought this was fight of the year. i even voted for it for FOTY in some of our threads from the start of january. but the more i think about 2008, and the more i've watched jmm - pac II, i've come to the conclusion that the rematch was A LOT better than cotto - marg. the current top 2 fighters on the planet, in a contested HIGHLY skilled nonstop action fight.

    As someone who attended the fight said. In the second round Margo got to Cotto , a double uppercut while his back to the ropes ****ed up Cotto's nose. He also took some wicked Body shots.

    The controvesy surrounding margarito now kind amakes this hard to watch. At the time(during the fight) i remember feeling this was really epic and its a pretty rare feeling

    WTF? :L Cotto was 7-3 up on alot of people score cards, and when i watched the fight live i felt it was an absolute clinic for the first six. But maybe you got some power of foresight that nobody else has

    right..the logical choice the whole time was that cotto was gonna get knocked and it was so easy to see it!!lmfao...
